Everything was fantastic! Our server was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Many items are marked GF on the menu, and some could be modified. They even served me bread that was toasted separately! We had the pork satay for an appetizer, caprese salad, tuna entree and elk entree, and both vanilla and chocolate creme brulee for dessert. I had an espresso martini that was delicious along with some wine. Such a great place!
When placing my dinner order, I quietly informed the waiter that I had a few food allergies and asked if they had a gluten free menu. He just pointed to items on the menu that I should consider and those to avoid. I had the impression that they had a GF menu so I asked again. He clarified that that they only had one menu for all. In my 9 months of abiding to Dr.'s orders, this dinner was my first experience of being "glutened." I have lived in this area 30 years and this was my first visit to the Bistro. I will easily wait another 30 years before I return.
