FELLOW CELIACS: DO NOT EAT HERE!!Menu indicates a handful of dishes are Gluten Free. I ordered the tuna Poke which was labeled GF. I asked the server to confirm that the soya sauce and tortillas were GF in fact GF and indicated that I was celiac and it was for medical reasons. They checked with the kitchen and I was quickly told that yes they were GF. Alarm bells were going off in my head but I stupidly ignored them and consumed my meal. After 2 days of being levelled by a reaction I called to speak with the manager and discovered that their house made tortilla chips are made in the same deep fryer as everything else and that the soya sauce on the fish is not GF. Both the manager and the staff that I dealt with were very uneducated in allergens and celiac disease. I told them they need to educate themselves and remove all GF labelling because of how dangerous this could be. But I’m guessing that will not happen.
