Review of The Buffet at the Wynn

I ate here recently and had a similar experience to the other reviewers. I told the front of house staff that I was gluten free and they arranged for the head chef to walk me through the items I could eat as well as the other items they could make or grab from the back without cross contamination. The only downfall was that I ordered a custom pizza-they have a separate oven for gf bread, and it made me sick. No less than 15 minutes after eating the pizza did I have to run to the bathroom. I don't blame the chef or front of house as they were all very well informed, however, the cooking staff seem to not acknowledge the safety precautions they should take for someone that does not choose to be gluten free. Still recommend, I just would not order the pizza as they may not bake it in a gf oven. Also-- not a whole lot of options for vegetarians with gluten sensitivity, at least not for the huge price tag. Good for meat lovers!
