Had our rehearsal dinner here - as soon as I walked through the door they showed me what was gluten free and what wasn't, but also made it clear that they couldn't 100% guarantee no cross contamination. They covered all their bases and neither me nor my fellow Celiac bridesmaid got sick! It was absolutely delicious. Ate way too many chips!!
I Had the blue corn w chicken.I told the waitress I was gluten free It was marked gf on the side . When it came to dessert I asked what was gluten free and she said I don't know I think nothing ...she didn't pull up a menu or say let me go ask . I was sure I had read they had some I later looked online and they do have dessert options . Food was good .I wish my waitress was more informed of the menu she is serving off of
I had a good experience. For an appetizer, I had the chips and guacamole. I thought the guacamole was spicy. For lunch, I had chicken fajitas with corn tortillas and rice. The waitress was very knowledgeable and was willing to ensure that my meal was both gf and df.
Yet another happy customer here! The bottomless chips and salsa were quite tasty, as others have said. I had the Chile Relleno, stuffed with chorizo, and it was a delight! It is an appetizer but was more than enough for me for dinner. Also had the fried plantains as a side and they were more like a dessert! Sooo yummy. The service was great and the portions were quite large for the price. Highly recommend!!
They have a large menu that labels items as GF to mean “gluten friendly” not gluten free. Our waitress told me to check with her on specific items. Almost all the sides, many of the apps, and all the enchiladas are marked GF. Chips are safe because they have their own firer. Other fried items are NOT safe. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful The queso is AMAZING. I had carnitas enchiladas with refried beans and rice.
There are kids working here that have no clue. I asked what was gluten free and was told it was listed on the menu. When I asked where, she pointed out the vegan items! All of the toppings are handled by the same hands that roll the tortillas. Really not sure how this place for good reviews. I didn't eat here, because they could not tell me what was gluten free--3 people were working and none were really helpful.
I just ate here a little while ago and I had the black blue nachos with grilled chicken. the menu is marked with "GF" beside items available. I explained to my severe allergy to gluten and was taken care of very well. the Manger, another server, and Emily explained my food was being prepared separately and had to wait an extra 15 minutes. the wonderful manager even gave us a discount, but really I appreciate the staff taking the time and consideration to do this. I can't even begin to thank you all for the greatest of care !!!!
GF options clearly marked on menu. The selection of GF options for meals were limited besides enchiladas which I had. They were tasty. This is a gourmet type Mexican restaurant as opposed to a traditional style Mexican restaurant. The price was ok too.
Good but be careful, food was very flavorful, had the gluten free Cozumel tacos, it came with sauce on the side that I nearly put on my taco but decided to double check, good thing as the waiter came back after asking and said "ummm no, not gluten free". ??? Weird as it was clearly marked as a gluten free dish and I ordered it specifically that way
