The Catch

The manager was knowledgeable and explained which products were gluten free and which were not. He made sure to clarify if it wad an allergy or an intolerance. My plate came separate and there was no cross contamination with the other order. I do wish there were more options than just fish, rice and red beans. BUT the fish and red beans tasted amazing!!

They said they had gluten free options over the phone. The lady at the desk was knowledgeable with personal experience. But I should have checked my meal before I left. Got home to find fried bread in my box.

My husband and I decided to split a meal from here-I'm gf, not him. The guy taking our order seemed very gf knowledgeable, he said the fries were not safe, my husband was going to have the fried oysters. The tray comes out and everything is piled together, the same guy seemed confused as to why I couldn't eat it. Fish was on top of the unsafe fries! The fried oysters were mixed in with other grilled shrimp and fish including the hush puppies (which I would love to have had) which we didn't even know was part of the meal. Will have to be even more specific if we come back.

The staff was very Celiac friendly and knew exactly what to recommend for me to eat. I had no reactions. The food was AMAZING! Very family friendly atmosphere.
