I was messaging restaurant to make sure my meal was going to be safe. I was told I could have steak and rice. Got to the restaurant and our server took no interest when I told no soy or gluten for me. So after placing order I saw someone who appeared to be in charge. I explained what happened and he told me I can’t have rice (soy). So the person who I messaged with told me rice was safe. He told me no. I ended up having a steak and a salad. I Left hungry.
— Not at all
— Gluten-free items are marked on the main menu
— Not Much
— Good
Anything fried is in a shared fryer, which they let us know when we asked, so be careful for the plantains if celiac. Otherwise there were a bunch ofreally great GF options on the menu since their carb of choice is rice instead of pasta. Couldn’t recommend more.
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— Some
— Excellent
There were very few options and even then there was no gluten free menu. I chose one thing and then later they came out and told me it wasn’t safe.
I had an amazing experience. Ask for Maria!
The second time I came, the waiter did not know what he was doing. I won’t return unless Maria is here. They brought out plantains from the shared fryer. I sent my food back and then they told me a lie that it was remade but wasn’t, I could clearly see the wipe marks on the plate. Disappointed.
