Turned up on a Tuesday, well after 12 pm (when google AND the sign on their door said it was open), it was all dark and closed up, no lights or people to be seen, very disappointing.

Find your fish n chips craving here! An entire separate menu and fryer. They even instruct to order gf items on a separate tab to insure there’s no confusion between gf and regular items.

They have a separate gf menu and a sign on the counter explaining their ordering process for gf. Very safe feeling. Heaps of options. Reasonable price and excellent quality. I had battered Gurnard and chips. Non greasy and crunchy. All tartare, tomato and other sauces labelled gf.

Fish and chips - so yummy. Ask at the counter for the GF menu. We had the battered Tarakihi and chips, the batter was light and crisp, the chips were just perfect. Food came clearly marked and in a separate bag from the non-gluten food.

I love coming here. I am a celiac but the rest of my apartment isn't and even they like the gluten free food better. The chips are amazing they taste like potato rather than just oil. They also have quite a few gf options. They use a separate gf fryer and mark gf products

I’ve just had my first fish and chips in two years. They tasted great - the batter was lovely on the fish (snapper) and the chips were delicious. My GF free husband said they were excellent which was high praise from him!

My son’s (coeliac) favourite place and have been there many times. He claims it’s the best GF fish and chips in NZ

Great fish and chips with a dedicated GF fryer, staff are knowledgeable and even stamp the orders with a GF stamp so you know they made it safely

Dedicated fryer. Traditional NZ fish and chip shop menu, takes me back to my childhood, pre diagnosis.

GF items have to be ordered on a separate ticket to ensure it's kept separate and the correct fryer is used

Pretty much anything there that's naturally GF (fish, fruit, etc) can be fried in their GF batter and fryer. Quality fish selection and the pineapple fritter was delicious

It's a take-away fish and chip shop - by no means fancy but good stuff

The Chip Shop, which has a completely separate gluten-free menu. All gluten-free food is made in a separate fryer and they have won the best chips in New Zealand award many times. You'll be feeling like a local in no time!
