We stayed at this remarkable hotel with no intention of dining here except for the included breakfast. Then we saw the menu for The Dining Room - everything except the pasta dish was GF! It's a bit pricey, but I'm here to say, it was worth every penny. The food was outstanding - rivaled the incredible meals on our 2019 Viking Ocean cruise. We were able to dine on the veranda, which added to the wonderful experience - twice. It was so sensational we booked a second evening. Both times I had pan-seared salmon, sautéed asparagus, and emperor's forbidden rice with achiote butter sauce. The rice was amazing! I was also served warm GF bread with butter. My husband had Colorado Chicken Breast one night, Maple Leaf Farms Duck Duet the second night. Both were fabulous. For dessert both times we shared The Cliff House Soufflé (orange soufflé, vanilla anglaise) which was incredible. Found out on our last morning that I could have been getting GF toast; sure wish I had inquired sooner! There is a second restaurant at this hotel but it was closed during the pandemic. I hope to review that one, Red Mountain Bar and Grill, next year!
