Server was very knowledgeable and contentious. They have a dedicated fryer for GF items and a GF menu. Food came out with an allergy label. Great experience, will be back.

Celiacs rejoice! I’ve tried to enjoy GF meals at two other C-Man locations, and this one does it right!! Extensive choices for adults and kids, and the allergy picks are a nice touch. We both loved our meals. I had the Rooster. GF bun was great, didn’t fall apart at all. Son had a kid’s hamburger. GF fries were delicious. We’ve had poor experiences that left us both sick in Plymouth and Windham - not sure if the chain has figured it out, or if Ashland is ahead of the rest. Either way, they killed it and I’m already dreaming of coming back!

Great experience. Separate gluten free menu and they make the plates with a pick to ensure you know it’s gf. Service was great and we enjoyed our meals. Best onion soup I’ve had in a long time. Pot roast was absolutely tender and flavorful. I had the seared tuna salad which was fresh and delicious! So many gluten free options I didn’t feel like I was missing out. Definitely recommend a visit.

I have eaten at this resturant in several locations, and the gluten free selections are diverse.. They are very gluten aware and the manager oversees the preparation of your food and delivers it to the table. Last night I had their delicious pot roast. Ambiance and service were great.

What a wonderful gem we found. Plenty of gf choices and the food was beautifully prepared. Staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. My husband (celiac disease) had a sirloin steak, baked potato, and grilled vegetables. I (DH) had baked onion soup and "Nantucket pie", which was shrimp, scallops, and fish in a flavorful sauce, accompanied by a baked potato and grilled vegetables.

I had the Nantucket Seafood pie, delicious! Staff was knowledgeable, provided separate gluten-free menu and meal came marked with a gluten free sign. Also, carried out separately!
Super cozy place, worth going out of your way for!

I've gone here a few times now and I have had no issues with their food. They have a separate gluten free menu with a fair amount of options. They take allergies seriously, and are happy to ask the chef if other items can be prepared gluten free. They do not have a dedicated fryer but have other substitutions for their fried items. Very happy with the staff and service

Delicious! We had the bacon wrapped shrimp and the blackened chicken wrap. It was so tasty and good. GF menu and lots to pick from. Our waitress was Maureen, she was very knowledgeable and delightful. We plan on visiting as much as we can while in the area. I am a severe celiac and I had NO reactions!!!

Separate gluten free menu. Gluten free bread for burgers. Tasty food.
Excellent GF menu and my Reuben and potato salad were great. The service was very slow on a rainy day but the waitress was unfailingly cheerful. Wish I lived closer.

I've eaten here many times and they always seem to mess up my GF order by adding some kind of gluten. I always end up sending it back.

Great menu lots of gf items
I have Celiac Disease and my family and I stopped on the way back from the White Mountains to CT. Fantastic GF menu (steak, fish, shrimp, chicken) choices at reasonable prices and the staff and cooks got it! I had mussels in a delicious broth that came with GF bread with a toothpick marked "allergy". Also shared polenta ragout with chicken added with my hubby which was excellent. Would have ordered a GF dessert (brownie sundae, creme brûlée or almond torte) except I am stuffed! Non Celiac family members had pork sliders and chicken pot pie and loved both. Will definitely go back!

Both the main restaurant and the upstairs lounge have lots of delicious options. Very safe.

Had dinner here tonight after our five-mile hike up Red Hill and not only was the place delicious but the servers were all incredibly friendly and very helpful when it came to me having celiac. They have a separate gluten-free menu with a variety of options, and if you're like me and like salmon but not maple, they will work with you to create your own dish; I had salmon with lemon and veggies. They also made sure to let me know what was gluten free on everyone else in my parties plate incase I wanted to try, and that all of their dips were gluten free if I wanted to sample. Would go back again!
Good size gluten free menu, including dessert, and of course it's delicious, all the c-man restaurants are! Update: I have eaten here numerous times now with no problems. They go out of their way to accommodate me, tonight even customizing one of the specials for me.
There was a separate Gluten Friendly menu with a lot to choose from. They even have dessert!!! Not just a scoop of vanilla ice cream, but brownie sundae with ice cream and crème brûlée!! Our waitress Chloe was amazing! She was very knowledgeable of all the offering, she even brought my daughter GF crackers so she could still enjoy their cheese station. My daughter had no digestive issues after eating here. Can’t wait to go back.

I was very impressed. From the GF crackers to the GF menu. My mom has other allergies on top of being gf and the waitress was very accommodating. The food was delicious. I had the Rooster with BBQ sauce. It was so nice to have fries. Yum. Will be back.

We ate here and had eaten at the Common Man before. Our waitress was knowledgeable about Celiac and enter ‘allergy mode’ when we told her we needed GF food. Food was good and no one got sick.

The service was great. The food was a bit expensive and average. We went for lunch and I had gf street corn bowl with chicken. No issues with gluten but chicken was dry and food was bland. My wife, non gf, had pork Sammy, also dry and fatty.
