Called ahead . I got the chicken sandwich fries and potato skins. It was delicious!
Have had many good experiences here but my celiac bf had a reaction when someone else at the table orders something from the regular menu, food is brought out together too... eat at your own risk
The gluten free pickle chips were awesome! The breading was crispy and perfect. And the gluten free bun for the sandwiches was so soft. Everything gluten free comes out with a special toothpick so you know it's safe! We actually went back again for dinner today. This time I had potato skins and fish & chips. Absolutely delicious and my celiac belly is happy.
They have a separate gf menu that includes sandwiches, burgers, pizza, and lots of apps. The thin crust pizza was great and cooked in a separate oven. They are knowledgeable about celiac. Update: in Spring 2018, they updated their menu and changed some recipes. The gf chicken fingers used to be light and crispy; now they’re heavy and crunchy. Last time I had a burger here, I sent it back because it tasted like a propane tank. I’m discouraged because my last two visits were so disappointing, and this is the safest celiac place I’ve found.
I was so excited to be able to eat fried food at a restaurant again and not be worried about getting sick!
I had the mushrooms wings and The Rudy and no contamination. Staff was wonderful
I was very impressed with their gluten free menu and separate areas for making everything. I had chicken tenders and fries with ranch, and I was so excited to have chicken tenders that were safe. But I got glutened. I'm not sure what did it because it seems like they have good cross contamination practices, so maybe it was a fluke. The waitress did bring out my ranch separately, so maybe it didn't come from the gluten free side? I don't know. I'm not from St. Louis so this is my only experience with this restaurant. Edit: I was in the area again and decided to give it another go! I didn’t get sick this time, and the food was still good! Raising the rating to 4 stars.
This is my family’s go-to restaurant! Everyone can find something they want to eat, and I feel very safe eating here! They have a celiac-safe gluten-free menu since the owner’s daughter has celiac disease. They even have gluten free cocktails! Definitely recommend coming here!
Fantastic variety of gf foods, ranging from big salads to fish, burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, and deep fried stuff. Owned by the same people who run the excellent Shack brunch restaurants.
Lots of GF appetizer selections!
my absolute favorite, ok neck and neck with the shack! same owner lol
The fish tacos were amazing. So glad the server talked them up. Only available Fridays in Lent. Great gluten free menu. Fries were delish too.
My girlfriend has celiac disease and we always eat here. Amazing selection and a dedicated gluten free menu! We come here often and she never had any issues with getting sick. Highly recommended if you want burgers, pizza and some GF drinks too!
The food was amazing! Love the fried pickles and sweet potato tater tots! Would 10/10 recommend!
They have a huge variety of gluten free options. Everything I have tried is delicious! My favorite is the Corner burger with bacon and cheese and sweet potato tots. Amazing wings and delicious chips with spinach artichoke dip! I've also had the loaded potato skins and they were very tasty! They are careful with gluten free preparation and have separate fryers for gluten free options. I don't feel like a bother at all for my food limitations.
I love this place! They have a wonderful gluten free menu and even some of the things on the regular menu can be made gluten free, and wonderful knowledgeable staff. I go everytime im am in the st louis area.
Fabulous experience. There is a “real” GF menu with legit GF items. Staff knew what was and wasn’t GF, my kids were thrilled to walk in and see GF FRIED CHICKEN as the daily special (Tuesday)!! The fried pickles were also AMAZING! So pleased to have found this place!
The staff wasn’t completely sure how to handle our request for gluten-free and dairy-free items, but after several trips to check with the chef we found food that worked well and was delicious too.
Great GF menu. Lots of options, including breaded chicken fingers and fries, which my 12 yr old liked. Has a separate dedicated frier. I had breaded buffalo chicken salad. VG.
Staff is very helpful and informative on celiac. Menu has lots of wonderful options. Gluten free fryer and huge plus when you want fries and the like. Nice place for sure and we will be back even if it is 2 hour drive from home.
Felt completely comfortable eating here, staff was knowledgeable, friendly and food was great!!
Great food / great staff/ and good prices too! I also have a severe dairy reaction. They were great about it. Will definitely be going back. one of the best g free restaurant experiences I've ever had
I was overwhelmed with having a whole page of safe food to choose from so I ordered three different things...they all came with generous portions and I don't know how but I ate every bite because it was so good, I was full til lunch the next day. I have Celiac and an anaphylactic wheat allergy, no reaction whatsoever. FYI, don't order three things LOL.
It felt so nice to be able to eat bar food again! The gluten free chicken fingers were delicious and I was able to eat fries because they have a designated gluten free fryer.
Visiting St. Louis and found this restaurant with Find Me GF app. I can only say thank you! First time in a decade that I have had breaded chicken in a salad. It was delicious!
First time I've had fried chicken in 9 years. And the breaded cauliflower was amazing! A definite go back to.
Unbelievable- delicious, fun "overeat" all the old favorites: chicken tenders, pizza... all so good and totally safe. Pizza cooked in spectate oven.
Great food from a large gluten-free menu, they have a gluten-free fryer, great atmosphere, & great service.
Owners daughter has celiac. Pickle chips and chicken wings delicious. Separate GF oil. Great service.
They have a dedicated fryer! I can eat chicken fingers and fries here, awesome! kid friendly and affordable, my husband likes the full menu. this place has become a live saver as a place the whole family can eat. so many GF options!
Excellent gluten free fried chicken every Tuesday night! Thick, crunchy, well seasoned gluten free breading, moist and tender chicken inside. Four pieces with mashed potatoes, gluten free gravy, and cole slaw! Dedicated fryer, separate prep area, no worries about cross contamination. Lots more gluten free options including sandwiches and burgers. I'll be back!
Tuesday nights have fried chicken!!!!!
Great food, awesome crispy fried pickles and chicken strips! Been so long since I've enjoyed a crispy meal 😊
I'm always encouraged when the gluten free items are in the regular menu. But..the food was good, not great. The flavor of the gf chicken strips' breading had great flavor but parts of it had fallen off and the chicken underneath wasn't so good. The sweet potato tater tots were different, very soft on the inside. Server was friendly but inattentive. I got the impression they had more business then they were prepared for. I might return but I'd check out other places first. Only glowing positive is we left full and I didn't get sick.
They have the best breaded chicken tenders and French fries( fried in safe fryer), and even have gluten free chocolate skillet cake!
Loved everything I ever ordered!
Love both locations, really good food
Happy I found this place. 3 out of 4 of us are GF, 2 of which are kids. Needless to say it's not easy find one restaurant to satisfy all our needs. My son & satisfied our burger crave & my daughter got a grilled cheese. We all enjoyed fries for the first time in months since they have a dedicated fryer. Totally awesome. Thank you to the owners for maintaining a safe environment & large menu of options. If I were hungrier I would have tried the wings & artichoke. Staff was friendly, food came timely & we were back on the road home. ***most importantly no one got sick!
Had a gluten free bun with my burger. The bun was pretty soggy and the service was just ok. I do really like how they have a dedicated gluten free menu!
Family know the owners. Always feel safe because of the dedicated fryers and staff knowledge.
After eating 90% of my salad, found a crouton in the bottom. I told the waitress who was so insensitive! She made a rude comment about "people freaking out about croutons". Never will go back again!
Awesome food, great service!!
Not impressed! Didn't feel it was safe to eat there after asking a few questions. I left.
Fantastic. Appetizers that are fried, great food and special care is taken. Informed servers. Best place in Stl by far that I've been to. Would have given five stars but no gluten free beer, just cider and we couldn't sit outside because servers weren't available on a Saturday at 5.....?
Great food. Wife had chicken strips gluten free. Will come back again!!
Try the Parmesan crusted cauliflower bites! They are excellent! Had the steak kabobs too and they were very good! Super happy I came here.
Excellent food! Wish they'd open a restaurant near me. I had the GF chicken strips and sweet potato tots. Can't wait to come back!
they just updated menu, now have awesome Gluten free chicken strips taste delicious, plus Gluten free cauliflower bites. in addition to all their other great gf foods A must go to!
Wait staff is very knowledgeable of Gluten and there is a GF menu. My family has never had an issue with eating here.
Hanna's menu is awesome. Tons of gluten free options. The French dip is delicious. Wherever they get their gluten free buns at, the do a hell of a job. Nice and soft, not super dry. The Mind Blowing Chili rocks too.
My waiter was very knowledgeable about gluten free and allergies. They have a separate fryer and a separate smoker for the salmon and chicken. There is also a separate GF menu. The smoked salmon was amazing! I tested all my food with my Nima sensor and is was truly Gluten free. We will be back for sure.
GREAT food. Stopped on our way back to KC. Wait staff and kitchen well trained and knowledgeable in providing GF safe food for celiacs. Kid favorites of GF chic fingers, cheeseburgers and fries hit the spot. GF dedicated fryers. Thanks to owners for putting in such effort and training your staff and offering large GF menu for the GF community. Wish we had one close by— we would be regulars!
There is a very detailed separate gluten free menu available to guests, which was actually created due to the owner’s daughter being diagnosed with celiac disease. This made me feel very secure when ordering, and I felt absolutely no pain or discomfort after the meal. The burgers and fried pickles are to die for! Celiac approved! :)
First time I've had anything fried in a very long time! The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. When she couldn't answer a question she sent her manager over to help us. Next time I travel to STL this will defiantly be a place I visit!
Great Food! The Employees are very well educated on what is and what isn't gluten free. Honestly, they have some very unique gluten free food choices and if your in the area it is well worth coming. Aslo, to clear the confusion I had it is a full on BIG restaurant and bar not some little tiny bar with tables to eat at. Were on vacation here and will definitely go back before we leave. P.S. They have Gluten free fried chicken on Tuesday only as of now.
Nice find! We had GF/Wheat free fried pickles for an appetizer. Delicious. My gluten loving husband agreed. I had a hamburger and fries for lunch and both were extremely tasty. There's a sign that says 'Fried Chicken Every Tuesday' - maybe one day we'll be back in town. (I hope it's a Tuesday!) The waitress and mgr. were very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you Corner Pub & Grill...I hope you open one in my town.
Great service and Shea out sever was very knowledgeable. Full gluten free menu. My 9 year old daughter loved all of the options including fried Parmesan cauliflower bites which were amazing. Dedicated fryers as well! We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.
We always visit The Corner Pub when in the St. Louis area. Their gluten free buns hold up surprisingly well, and they have a gluten free fryer with lots of options including sweet potato tots! Lucky's Market is right next door which is super handy for picking up some gluten free treats after dinner.
Visited The Corner Pub & Grill based on the great ratings on the findmeglutenfree reviews. They were spot on. Food was fabulous with options rarely available to those with true gluten intolerances. Taylor our waitress was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Its so refreshing to find somewhere that I can eat normal person food, have an appetizer, and not have to read labels or worry about getting sick!
We used the app to find a place for lunch when we discovered the the GF cafe was closed on Labor Day. It did not disappoint. You need to ask your server about the GF options, as they are not mentioned in the menu. I had a bison burger on GF bun and sweet potato tater tots. My friend had a gluten full BLTE which was the special of the day. We both enjoyed our meal. I did have to pay extra for the GF bun, which was smaller than the burger. This is a nice low key sports bar (at least when we were there).
Gluten free chicken tenders!!!! I went in tonight to check out their newly updated menu and found that they had added gluten free hand breaded chicken tenders to the menu. They were AMAZING! This has been one of our safe go to restaurants for a long time and have never gotten sick even once. The owners daughter is Celiac so they take it very seriously. There is a dedicated fryer for the gluten free food so you can have chips, fries, wings, some cauliflower bites that I haven't tried yet and TENDERS!
This place knows how to make someone with celiac disease comfortable. Awesome staff and delicious comfort foods. Had hot wings, potato skins, burger and fries. Pub food heaven!! Will most certainly be recommending this place and coming back often.
We absolutely love this place - we go at least once a month. The gluten free menu is located in the actual menu and there are plenty of choices. The owners daughter has celiac disease so they take their food very serious! You can always find a great gluten free dessert too!
AWESOME! My two Celiac children ages 13 and 10 were so excited to order items we never see on GF menus AND to have so many choices! We were stuffed but ordered the GF flourless chocolate cake anyway! Needless to say, it was yummy! This would be our "go-to" restaurant if we lived here. Unfortunately we are only passing through town and so grateful to find this GF gem while traveling.
Very knowledgable staff. Daughter of owner has Celiac. Dedicated GF fryer and awesome French fries. I got blackened chicken (delicious) and nachos (not good nachos -skip- they use yucky spread cheese vs fresh shredded cheese). Really great selection. Coming back.
We eat here once a week. We love the potato skins, French fries, nachos, chicken wings and more. We are always very specific that our son has celiac disease and they take extra care. They own five other places in the area that all have gf menus.
Great gluten free fries!! Great gluten free appetizers!! Great place to watch a football game!! I would have given them 5 stars but I believe I was affected by cross contamination while having their nachos once. We have been back and haven't had further issues, but with this being said I haven't had their nachos.
