The woman at the counter was familiar with celiacs and made sure the kitchen was taking precautions (like changing gloves and cleaning the grill. Expensive and nothing special but a warm meal at an airport is a treat for me.

We are at the San Diego airport, super disappointed that they have NO GF options. We were counting on eating here and there was no menu like people said in the past. Bummer

Super fresh, GLUTEN FREE meat, no buns, nice servers. I experienced this yummminess in the San Diego airport. $17 is a bit high, but piece of mind is priceless.
Everyone’s knowledgeable about gluten, AND they go the extra mile to not only change gloves, but get your toppings and salad base from the back, where it hasn’t been touched and there’s no cross-contamination possible! I’m so impressed. The turkey and vegan burgers do have gluten in them, but a beef burger in a salad bowl is totally safe. Also! By virtue of their limited offerings, the fries are the ONLY thing that’s fried in their fryer, so you can have regular or sweet potato fries with no problem.
Yes
Staff understands gluten & they have a dedicated dryer. I enjoyed my burger in a bowl.

terminal 1 gate 3-10 fantastic burger especially after a VERY long day. short blonde at register not only knew what gluten free was but immediately had staff handling my food change gloves. did i mention they have 100% gf sweet potato AND regular fries?? $16 for airport burger salad with fries. only thing that could make it better would be gf buns
Yes
Get a burger in a bowl. All their sauces are GF.
Extremely knowledgeable. All I said was I am allergic to gluten and dairy, and voila! The message was passed from cashier to food prep worker to change her gloves and written on my order ticket. They even have all the gf sauces labeled for you. I had to wait an extra minute, if that, for my 50/50 fries (sweet potato and regular). All of the workers acknowledged the allergy and took every precaution. Thank you to the people who reviewed this place before me.

Staff was entirely knowledgeable about allergies, and knew exactly the what and what not that I could have. The gluten free burgers come bun-less and with 3 toppings. It was honestly one of the best burgers I've had. Period. The fries were great as well. If you're stuck in the San Diego airport for whatever reason, I would highly recommend stopping by here.

What a surprise! GF in an airport! We had gf burgers and Turkey burgers that was delicious! Gluten free fryer. The guy at the counter knew why I was asking what else was fried in the fryer. Definite recommend.

They weren't super friendly or forthcoming w info but when I was persistent w questions they stated the following “the salads w a burger on top are safe, there is no cross contact with that” “Nothing else goes in the fryer but fries” “We do gluten-free orders all day long” A bit condescending to say the least but wanted to add a little more info than “no gf bun”...... It is a smaller menu than a typical Counter Burger FYI.

Burger was good. The server said they should have a dedicated fryer, but since I decided to have a side salad, I can’t say for sure.

They have a gluten free menu. I had a hard cider. Waiters are friendly and attentive. It is pricey though.
