Dedicated fryer and a gluten free menu. Great service and the yummiest burgers as well as safe shoestring chips!! I only have great things to say. Also you can customise your entire burger to exclude and include things you don’t want and they will cook and put it all together. Yum!

Attentive staff - I ordered online delivery and chose fries on the side. The manager called me to warn their fryer is not safe and substituted for something else. So even though I was dissappointed not to get fries I felt good knowing he was looking out. Would try again

There is an extra gluten free menu and the waitresses was knowledgeable. She ask, if we want the fries, because they get fried in the same oil as some wheat stuff. The burger was super delicious

Very helpful staff with knowledge on the glutenfree menu that they have. Best burger bun I have had in a long time. Will recommend to any celiac if they crave a burger!

Had a dedicated GF menu which was nice. Can't go wrong with a "make your own burger" type menu. Got 1 lb bison burger on their GF bun with avocado and lettuce. Side of shoe string fries. Was very delicious and didn't have any effects from either dish. Don't think this place is celiac friendly but it does cater very well to a GF clientele. Will return.

I want to be clear that the fryer here is NOT safe. It is a shared fryer. This was confirmed by at least three employees (one of which was a manager). Please be safe! The staff gave conflicting answers and made be very uncomfortable. I am also a former health inspector and found the place to be quite filthy. This didn't leave me feeling very safe at all! There were crumbs in my water from either poor dishwashing practices or other contamination. I actually chose to forego eating there while the rest of my non-celiac party ate.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The burgers are fantastic and the buns taste like real buns and not like the typical GF bun. Loved the sweet potato fries too! Our waitress was great and knowledgeable about GF. Now if only they would open one in OC!

My husband and I absolutely love this place. We have been in LA for about 10 days and have eaten here 3 times. They have delicious gluten free buns (that are clearly lactose free, as we are both very sensitive) and also offer Daiya "cheddar". Their burgers are so delicious that they mute the terrible fake cheese taste; it's actually worth adding to the burger. Try one with pineapple, jalapeño, bacon and bbq! Their regular fries are safe, but the sweet potato fries are where it's at! The only gf beer they had available is Omission (not safe for Celiacs); however, they offer raspberry and pear ciders that are delicious and not too sweet. All in all, dining here has repeatedly been a wonderful experience that left neither my husband or myself feeling ill after indulging in a meal we rarely are able to enjoy. Last but not least, the staff has been very friendly and accommodated. 5 starts for this place!

Dedicated gluten free menu and knowledgeable staff. Bacon cheese burger, fries, and drink for $15. Great taste and got right in for lunch on Saturday at 1 pm.

Incredible place and a great find in downtown LA. They have a complete, dedicated GF menu. Will be back next time we are in LA. Note: full non-GF menu too.

Ate lunch here. Separate GF menu but a lot of options on regular menu as well. I got a bison burger with sweet potatoes fries and they have GF beer but only on brand. The food was great, but I would not consider this a one $ waiting but more like a $$.

Safe fries!!! Dedicated frier for regular & sweet potato fries. Ask for a GF menu. I think the bun is just an Udi's bun. I much prefer to get the burger bowl with a big pile of lovely greens. The fries are really good, both kinds. No one got sick. Organic bison as a burger option. Kind of pricey for a burger joint but good quality and safe so worth it overall.

Food is unremarkable but my burger was celiac safe. Everything is clearly marked and the staff seemed to be reasonably confident. The milkshakes aren’t GF though which is a bummer!

Atmosphere is a cross between a Chipotle and an Applebee's. Definitely an adult vibe, but not very overly commercial or dark inside. The burgers are good, but pricey. The gluten-free bun is just an Udi brand so we opted for the bed of lettuce. Chili was large portion but only okay. Ask for a GF menu when you are seated.

Ordered from Gluten Free menu. I “tested” the sweet potato fries with my Nima Sensor that were advertised “dedicated fryer” and they came up as not Gluten free. So beware if you are Celiac and sensitive. On the bright side, the bare burger on a bed of Kale tested GF.

Not Celiac safe. They have a separate menu and the staff seemed knowledgeable about gluten allergies and Celiac's, but my partner and I both got sick from cross contamination.

I let my waitress know I had a severe gluten allergy (easier to say than saying I have Celiac) and she made sure to let the cooking staff know. They have dedicated fryers for the fries and prepare food safely. I had a burger on a GF bun with sweet potato fries. She withheld the sauces that had gluten in them, which I appreciated. I didn’t get sick afterwards, so I think I was in the clear. It was very good and didn’t taste like a GF bun. Only thing I would say is it was a bit pricey compared to In-N-Out, but it was a fun environment and good food.

Our food was good. The chili cheese fries were good. Our budget was ok but came missing half the toppings. Both our friends who are not GF ordered the wings and there was SO much salt they couldn't eat them & waitress insisted there wasn't an error, but reluctantly said she could get them something else. The food took forever to arrive, so there was no way we were waiting for more. Her excuse for horrible service was that over 3 people didn't show up for work. However I gave it a good rating bc my food was good and there was a great selection. I still feel good without reaction .

Had lunch today there. No gluten free menu. Fries are not safe as they share frier. They have chips but are not gf. They have gluten free bun. The quality for the price was a joke. Expensive to eat in plastic dishes. Specially the kids mini burger, they should be called micro burger.I do not which kind of kid could be satisfied with this...

Everyone’s knowledgeable about gluten, AND they go the extra mile to not only change gloves, but get your toppings and salad base from the back, where it hasn’t been touched and there’s no cross-contamination possible! I’m so impressed. The turkey and vegan burgers do have gluten in them, but a beef burger in a salad bowl is totally safe. Also! By virtue of their limited offerings, the fries are the ONLY thing that’s fried in their fryer, so you can have regular or sweet potato fries with no problem.

Really nice food and good gf options. Only problem is the drinks. They don't have any drinks in bottles only through the dispenser which can be contaminated so had to have no drink with meal

I went there with my boyfriend on a vacation, and the staff knew what I was asking for when I told them I was gluten free. They have a separate menu(I got the impossible burger, which is also vegetarian along with gf), and they have a separate fryer so it’s celiac safe. I also got a side salad and it was delicious. 10/10, defintely would recommend!

Great spot for fresh, premium burgers and fries! They have a separate gluten-free menu and GF bun, but the kids menu is not gluten-free. But my kid devoured his 1/3 lb burger, so I guess he didn't need the kids menu to begin with. Fantastic servers, too!

I have to take two stars off my review. Each time I eat here I am careful to ask about everything (or so I thought). I didn’t feel great a couple times but couldn’t imagine why because they seemed very careful so I chalked it up to coincidence. Then tonight when I realized the onion strings my husband ordered weren’t on my menu I asked about the fryer. My sweet potato fries are cooked IN THE SAME FRYER! He said they change the oil so it’s fine. What?! Burgers are good but do not eat the fries if you are celiac.

The Counter is awesome. I have eaten here numerous times and the servers are all very knowledgeable about how the gluten food is prepared. As a family, we get the fries trio, substituting onion rings (NOT gluten free) for plain fries. The gluten free fries trio includes: Parmesan, sweet potato and plain French fries. I also recommended the gluten free Chipotle turkey burger. There are so many options, and custom burgers (or not, for your vegetarian friends) you can make. They accommodate everyone. Highly recommend this location.

Very knowledgeable about gluten free options. Fries (sweet potato and regular) are gf. The bun for my grilled chicken sandwich was very nice and not too crumbly. I liked the veggie skewers. Attention to my order was very good. If you miss a good burger, this is a good option!

Rosemarie who greeted us was VERY knowledgeable and helped me navigate the menu effortlessly. She crossed off all items with gluten. (Most places just shove an allergen binder at you, or worse just give you a blank look when you say “gluten”) so nice to be well taken care of!! Staff is very well taught.

Personally I would not eat here as a Celiac. I have asked before, and the buns and impossible burgers (contain gluten) are all grilled on the same space as the regular burgers. They seemed reluctant to clean for me. They do have other food options, and fries are in a dedicated fyer. However; with the high staff turn over, and lack of knowledge about allergens I have encountered here... I would go elsewhere if you are very sensitive.

We ate here yesterday and I was SO nervous! My 5 year old twins have Celiac and have a severe reaction to gluten which is why we rarely eat out. I researched ahead of time and took a chance on this restaurant. I realized the poor reviews were from several years ago and there was one excellent, detailed review within the last few months. I was also nervous because we were a party of 9 and I always worry about overwhelming a server when I have such specific requests. Anyway, our lunch was phenomenal!!! My Celiac girls both had mini burgers on gluten free buns (one GF bun cut in half) and FRIES! They love fries and I never order them for fear of cross contamination but the server promised me there was a dedicated gluten free frier and everything turned out great! This restaurant absolutely made our day!!!

Understood my allergy and cooked everything well so I did not get sick. But the bun fell apart so quickly I couldn’t eat it at all. I know this is typical of GF buns, but this was probably the worst one I’ve had. But the burger itself was delicious at least.

Based on previous reviews we made our way here. I have severe celiacs and end up in an ambulance on my way to the ER when I have any so eating in the airport is scary and very limited. Rosemarie was who greeted us and was very helpful. She crossed out all of the items I couldn’t eat. She informed us that the second fryer was down so not to eat the fries or bacon due to cross contamination right now. Should be fixed soon. Even if I get sick she informed my server and did her best to protect me. That’s a win as far as I’m concerned. Also the shakes are safe without whip cream
