The worker who took my order was very knowledgeable about what was and wasn’t gluten free, and made sure no pocky made it into my crepe. The crepes are made of a delicious, slightly sweet rice dough. I ordered a Fruit Bouqet with whipped cream & the fruits were perfectly ripe and delicious. Definitely will be stopping by here again.
The staff does need training bc not everyone knows what is non gluten containing. I got lucky once with someone who knew the custard has gluten and the poki is gluten, as well as the teriyaki (always ask) and I just have it memorized. Nothing is marked when ordering on the screen, so I always order at the counter (which takes longer but there you have it). Nothing is marked on the menu. They advertise as gf and the crepe batter is delicious and gf. I recommend the fish savory crepe (salmon? Tuna? Can’t remember) which has cream cheese and spinach. Careful with the ice cream since the stone they roll it on is shared with wheat containing products (think cookies and cream ice cream).
Staff needs training but is nice. My wife and I both made a point to ensure our orders were gluten free. However, they stick pocky in everything which is not gluten free. They did remake our orders correctly but it took a while. That being said, the crepes are delicious and French style.
