Review of The Dotted Lime

THE best and ONLY 100% gluten free restaurant in the greater NASHVILLE area. Owner has severe celiac and actually gets it. She understands most of us have other food allergies so they offer tons of options Corn, Soy, Dairy, Nut free. There’s no nuts at all in their facility FYI. Lots of great vegan options too.

They take it serious enough to even have a sign posted outside stating that their patrons have food allergies so don’t bring in anything from the outside, including baby food!

It isn’t your typical GF place where all they have are sweets with a few sandwiches. Their dinners are incredibly savory with hearty meals and locally sourced meats. My husband said his steak last night was the best steak he’s eaten out-even better than his $100 Craft Steak we ate in Vegas.

Please head down there and support this family! The entire family runs the restaurant and you will not only fall in love with the food and reasonable prices but you’ll fall in love with them. God bless them and all the hard work and sacrifices they are making to create this wonderful place for us to enjoy! She drives in every day from their mini farm many miles away to start baking even before the sun comes up. The kids help waitress and run the kitchen. They try very hard to only source the best ingredients and not pass on the expense. They even fry with sunflower oil which is double the cost of the crap canola oil that most places use.

You will walk out of there so happy and feel completely normal again from a society/dining stand point. Bring friends so you can share plates! God bless the sweet owners and the difference they are making for others!! It is so greatly appreciated.
