I had the gf pancakes, ham and eggs this morning. Let me tell you it was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. I ordered the crispy potatoes as an extra side and they are delicious too. Tried the biscuits and gravy yesterday but they are vegan and weren’t great to me. I use lots of butter and dairy at home. Great place!
This has become one of the go-to breakfast spots in Denver. Lots of GF/DF options that actually taste good! One of my faves is the Eggs In A Hole On A Shingle. They have GF/vegan gravy. So good!
You can sit inside or on the patio if the weather is nice.
I didn't ask the GF safety queatiosn but I haven't had any issues not feeling well after.
Meh. I was pumped for this place, and when I saw biscuits and gravy on the menu as a gluten free option.. I was ecstatic. (It’s hard to find this meal anywhere) Well, the single biscuit was a crumbly, dry, dense lump that literally tasted like nothing. The gravy was also a huge letdown. It was watery and had a very faint flavor of something that wanted to be gravy. It was served with scrambled eggs and fried potatoes.
I will say it was a good portion of food. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ll post a photo of the meal.
The location is cute, it had outdoor seating and was lovely. Perhaps someone will try something else that is tasty. I was in town for just a few days, so I won’t be returning.
Really cute place, I just got the GF mocha bread pastry! It was great.
Really enjoyed this place and I would go back repeatedly during a Colorado visit! I had the gluten free buttermilk pancakes with raspberry compote, my daughter had the gluten free crepes and both were good. The pancakes were better than the crepes and definitely one of the best I’ve had in a restaurant. They also have gluten free biscuits and gravy!!
Ah, I wanted to like this one.
The order-taker was snippy and sporting an attitude, barely answered questions. The menu is vast and GF items are not clearly marked, nor are any details apparent with regard to preparation, cross-contamination, etc.
I had the chicken-fried steak with gravy, which is always, only, prepared GF. Tastes wonderful. Good coffee and tea. The restaurant is in a walkable retail area and has outdoor seating as well.
Good options for GF and Vegan. Delicious comfy and friendly service
I have Celiac and they were very careful with my salad. I ate there twice and both times got the salad. They did disclose that there is potential for cross contamination as they are not a completely gluten free kitchen but their kitchen does their best to avoid cross contamination. I didn't get sick either time.
This is a great breakfast spot I love coming here. I try to make it a regular occurrence!!! Gf pancakes!!! Gf tortillas!!!! That's right folks!! Where else in Denver can you get burrito?!?! That's gf?? It blows my mind every single time. Oooohhhhh and they serve Pablo's coffee!!! Yeah!!!!
We live in the neighborhood and this place is awesome and has never gotten me sick!! My favorites are the breakfast burrito (get the red chili), the egg in a hole, and the biscuits and gravy.
The first time I went I gave them the whole celiac run down and they have a separate griddle for cooking GF items and are very familiar with cross contamination. They don’t have a GF fryer though!
They’ll flag your order with a gluten allergy alert for the kitchen when you order. I eat here once a week and they have NEVER glutened me. I’m incredibly sensitive and Celiac.
I didn’t have a great experience here, and didn’t end up ordering any food.
They were pretty busy, and items labeled gluten-free were inconsistent between the website and in-person menu. The person working kept using the term “gluten-friendly” to describe items like the chilaquiles, which are made in a shared fryer. “Gluten-friendly” sure isn’t friendly to me 😂
The cashier did say that some items can be made in separate dishes, but didn’t specify what those dishes were; I would’ve appreciated some suggestions.
I’d be open to giving this place another chance when they’re less busy, and if I do, I’ll update this review. But I wouldn’t recommend for someone with celiac disease for now.
