2/3 of the items were gluten-free and the cases were labeled to clearly identify what is and what isn’t gf. There was a wide variety of baked goods to choose from. Fridays and Saturdays they offer gf cinnamon buns.

Have been a customer since the original store opened and continued at the new one. Best gf baked goods anywhere!!! Owner’s child has gf sensitive so they know their stuff. Will take orders and hold items. Holiday and seasonal special treats. Just the best!!!

The name G Free no longer applies because now that they’ve moved to a new location they are no longer just gluten free as half the cases are filled with glutened items. When I asked I was told there is a dedicated gluten free kitchen on one side and the other side is regular kitchen. How disappointing that they have sold out to provide for everyone instead of the niche service of being a totally gluten free bakery. Always my favorite stop on vacation but probably not anymore.

I’ve been looking forward to trying their new location on Main Street as the Coligny location was either closed when I went by, closed for Covid or closed because they decided to only keep the Main Street location. Because of the previous person’s comments, I decided to ask about GF even though it seemed ridiculous that what was once a full GF bakery was no longer. But sure enough a quarter of the case was GF and the rest was regular. I couldn’t believe it! What a disappointment. Of course the regular items were better looking and more appealing flavors than the GF. We were hoping to get lunch in addition to a treat but there was nothing to indicate that lunch was anything other than quiche and a salad. We went across the street to Munchies. We returned for dessert to take home. While I was waiting in line another customer asked for a menu. It’s a paper menu kept on a back corner! Of course I didn’t know. Apparently anything can be made GF. Not sure on cross contamination. My GF daughter got a vanilla cupcake with blue frosting. I chose the Ted Velvet cupcake. We spent $10 and my MasterCard wasn’t accepted. The cupcakes were ok. My daughter said it almost tasted like pound cake with a hint of vanilla. Mine was average, a little dry and the icing seemed to be a thinner cream cheese. I was feeling sick a few minutes later. My stomach hurt for hours afterwards. Almost felt like a deep ache or soreness. Haven’t ever experienced that in all my reactions over 6 years of being GF. I probably won’t go back to this bakery. Such a shame as I am a full time resident now.

I'm not sure what was happening on the day I visited. Only one of the three cases was gluten free and their card reader wouldn't take my mastercard. I think they have a different location. Just want to warn other gluten free folks that it's not exclusively gluten free, so make sure to ask. I would have gotten very seriously ill had I not been informed that only 33% is gluten free. What a bummer too!

The food was really good. We went twice and enjoyed everything we had. The star off, was for how deceiving the name is. There are 3 cases of goodies when you walk in which was so exciting to my son and me. Then when it was our turn they advised us that we could only choose from 1 case and the other two are gluten cases. Pretty upsetting for an 8 year old who thought he could order whatever he saw to be let down. They need to change their name in my opinion.
