Amazing experience. All staff were really well versed in allergy protocols and understood the severity of celiac. Assured me they would change gloves, wash hands, use the dedicated fryer.
Had the Korean garlic fried chicken and the Yusuf spritz. Dish was announced as a gluten allergy when delivered to the table. Both were amazing! My first fried, sauced Asian style dish since diagnosis. Make sure you talk with the staff because more of the menu can be GF than is marked on the digital version of the menu.
I did ask later if I could have a bite of my friends chicken since they were all supposed to be GF. They advised against it because they don’t use the dedicated fryer unless you specify an allergy. FYI - don’t forget to tell them when you order!
Cool vibes and atmosphere. Can’t wait to return.

I have eaten at the Ginger Pig numerous times and have never gotten sick. There are multiple GF options available, but the best we've found is the sweet and sour chicken.

I order bbq pork. I got burnt bbq tofu. All the food was dry. Wouldn't recommend.

So many items marked gluten free, and the GF fried items are fried in a dedicated fryer! I got the sweet and sour fried chicken and oh my goodness YUM. Haven’t had fried Chinese chicken in forever and it was so delicious. Didn’t react at all and I’m very sensitive, so I know they really meant it when they said they’d communicate to the chef that I have celiac.

I was so sad with my recent celiac diagnosis because it meant skipping our local Chinese restaurant with the best Szechuan chicken. So happy I have a new place and their La Zi Ji (Chinese Fried Chicken) is crazy good. My whole family, including a foody husband, always enjoys themselves here.

The Ginger Pig is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. There are so many gf options and of the three I ordered, sweet and sour chicken, Japanese fried chicken, and char siu, they were all delicious. The bangkok balls as an appetizer were also amazing and just a little spicy. I am a celiac and felt safe eating here, I will definitely be returning.
