This place was fantastic. My son and I are both Celiac’s. I had a burger on a GF bun and fries. I don’t think you would know the bun was GF unless they told you. My son had gluten free grilled cheese with tomato soap - both delicious. They can also do a fried chicken sandwich GF. Highly recommend!!

It makes me so sad to say this but I definitely had an allergic reaction when I ate here. The fried chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious and the waiter was very conscientious of my allergies (gluten and dairy) but I think there must have been some kind of cross contamination, because I got extremely sick. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone who’s very sensitive to cross contamination.

It’s amazing! I haven’t been to a place where the menu is basically all gluten free!! I have been really missing grilled cheeses and this hit the spot. The drinks are amazing as well. my boyfriend got the wings and really enjoyed them as well!! i will definitely be going back

Delicious and safe!! We had gluten free grilled cheese, FRIED chicken sandwich, and fries from a dedicated fryer. The burger (no cheese) and bun are also dairy, soy, nut free. Fries were also safe for us without the parmesan. All but two items on the menu can be made gluten free! I gave it 4 stars for safety just because they do prepare and serve gluten items but felt completely comfortable. The inside is a an eclectic old bar and seating area and the outside is set as a campground with picnic pavilions and a Campground Host (the bar). It’s not a bargain meal by any means but so nice to go somewhere different and fun.

Good food, good atmosphere, good service. Everything is or can be gluten free with the exception of the Mac and cheese. The chicken sandwich is fried in chickpea flour. They have gluten free fish and chips on Mondays. All in all a good experience and I will be back.

So good! Once the weather warms up, you’ll probably be able to find me on their patio pretty often!

Waistress told me everything could be made/was already made gluten free (including a dedicated fryer for the fries) with the exception of the Mac and cheese.

I had one of the smashed burgers and it came out with a “gluten free” labeled toothpick. Also felt safe as the gluten free bun definitely looked different than the gluten bun. Food was great!

Also, dog friendly patio and great drinks!

Sometimes when my food is good, I get nervous that someone made a mistake 😂 But I felt totally normal after so I won't be nervous next time! Server told me that everything except for the mac and cheese could be made gluten free and they have a dedicated frier!!! I could not have been happier to be able to order fries which were fantastic! I got a burger also which was great. I've never seen the bun they used (it was definitely gf) but I really liked it and it didn't fall apart. Server also assured me that they'd cook my food on a separate, clean cooking surface. Honestly so impressed and we'll definitely be back. My only complaint was that they don't put anything about gf on the menu so I had to call before we went to make sure I could eat here.

We had the bacon appetizer, burger and fries. I’m always nervous eating at new places that say things are gf. It was great and I had no issues at all! We will be regulars.

I really wanted this fun, cool, family owned place with lots of taxidermy & art deco decor to be celiac safe but sadly at this point it is not. The baked beans came to the table with a pasta shell in them which wasn't discovered until 3 of us (all Celiac) ate some. When I brought it to the attention of staff there was a mild "oh sorry".

Had the fish and chips which were great. Owner talked about how it took a long time to get a GF batter that worked. Almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free, and nothing goes in their fryer with gluten. Fun outdoor space as well!

Great addition to South City. Owners have family members with celiac and take cross contamination very seriously. Food is amazing and almost every can be made GF. Fryer is dedicated GF. Chocolate chip peanut butter cookies are amazing!
