My husband and I loved this shop prior to going gluten free. We were excited when we saw they offered Local Oven gluten free bread! When we asked which subs were gluten free, they said they had gluten free bread. When we reworded our question the girl got flustered and called over a co-worker. He had no clue what he was talking about and told us ONLY the turkey pastrami and spiced ham were gluten free. We asked if he was sure and answered he was sure. We re-stated, "So only those two are gluten free?" and he said yes again. This made NO sense and we left without ordering.

Came here looking for a sub sandwich, which I have not had in about 2 years since going GF. The employee I talked to was very flustered when I asked for a gluten free sandwich and the manager had to call corporate to see what items were gluten free for the sandwich. My meal was then prepared by the manager in a separate area from the normal gluten subs. The Local Oven sub bread was a little dry, but the sandwich was decent and they accommodated me the best they could. Hopefully as demand increases, their staff will have more education.

Staff was great and ask if allergy or preference and were very accommodating for a gluten free order. Sandwich was tasty!

DO NOT EAT HERE. YOU WILL BE SICK. Not to mention I was treated like a problem for asking them to be safe. All common instruments. Drags the bun across a shared bench. No changing of gloves even after I was lectured about them changing gloves.

So happy! They offer delicious gluten-free bread from local oven. They asked about allergies, they changed gloves, used parchment and disposable tongs/ spatulas to spread Mayo. I’m grateful for their care to avoid cross contamination.

Gluten free rolls kept in sealed packaging. Employee changed gloves and built sandwich on parchment to avoid cross contamination. Up charge for the bread but it was delicious.

Excellent gluten free bread!! I ask for my sub to be “hot” which is heated. Boy does that ever improve the taste of the bread. Hot 8 for me (turkey and cheese) on gluten free bread. They always change their gloves and get a new knife. I could eat there every day. 😃
