No gf bread, no wraps, workers seamed absolutely clueless

Ordered a gf sandwich. The bread was extremely soggy from all the sauce and had very little meat. It was overpriced and not very good. Maybe if they toasted the bread it’d be better. The bread was a gf kind from the grocery store.
I’d go somewhere else.

I got a salad and the woman behind the counter grabbed all of my ingredients from separate refill containers as opposed to the ones that were out on the line. If you don’t specify, they will grab all the ingredients from the shared line, but if you ask they will get untouched sage ingredients and change gloves. As an added bonus, my salad was delicious and huge!

This is a sandwich counter inside the Public Market. I ordered the Veggie Stack sandwich on gluten free bread. The woman at the register seemed knowledgeable and wrote everything down in great detail. The person making the sandwiches cleaned the surface before making mine on top of the paper it would be wrapped in to minimize cross-contamination. The sandwich, which was a generous size, was actually two smaller sandwiches (4 slices of bread total), so they didn’t have to use a knife to cut it in half, further reducing a point of potential cross-contamination. The place was overall very clean — the folks not making my gluten-free sandwich repeatedly changed gloves and wiped down surfaces as they transitioned between ingredients and tasks. I’d verify the ingredients of their sauces and seasonings if you’re going to get something a little more complicated than veggies and cheese, but they seem trustworthy, and the sandwich was very tasty.

Love, love Green Kitchen. Huge portions of salads, sandwiches and wraps all GF safe. Wraps come in Collard Greens, Sandwiches have GF options available. They do make all their sandwiches on the same area but I bet you can request that precautions are taken. Great fresh juice drinks also. Go check this place out in the Milwaukee Public Market. They do not disappoint.
