The gf pancake is not celiac safe. Our waitress had celiac and she said she would t eat it as it’s cooked on a shared surface with shared utensils. We asked for it to be cooked in a clean pan and the kitchen refused. We did eat the eggs, bacon, and hash browns with no reaction
The Griddle is, or was, my absolute favorite place to eat in Winnemucca. This morning I ordered their gluten free pancakes and asked if they were cooked on a different spot than everything else to prevent cross contamination. I was told yes.
When my food came, there was a big piece of cheese cooked into the edge of my pancake. While dairy isn't an issue for me, it's obvious they don't take cross contamination seriously.

I asked about gluten free food, and the server said, "we use margarine, but we can cook things dry." It didn't seem like she understood gluten and just kept talking about margarine. I ordered gluten free protein pancakes without margarine or butter because they are used when buttering toast. The pancake was ok with syrup.
A must-stop for the gluten free cross-country traveler. The Griddle has AMAZING gluten free pancakes. I had two big pancakes with blueberries on top. Also shared scrambled eggs and hash browns. Did not get sick.
My mom loved her gluten-full French toast, and brother enjoyed his eggs and crispy bacon. Great coffee and fresh OJ. A wonderful experience for all of us.
