Just be careful if you have celiac. DO NOT order the meats, which the menu lists as GF. As the previous reviewer said, they cover them with pita once they are cooked. I told them this is terrible for allergies and they can’t say the meat is GF. They did not seem to care. I’ve had the falafel. It did not make me sick but wasn’t the greatest falafel in the world either. They also don’t change gloves unless you really push. Generally, they are not great on allergy practices and the staff aren’t trained very well. Too bad.

Was so excited to try this based on their website and chatting with employees outside at opening. However I walked in at lunchtime and noticed all the pre-sliced meat was covered in pita (guessing to keep it warm and fresh). There was no line, so I mentioned I had Celiac and gestured to the pita to see if there were other options I could order safely, but the three people on staff were confused. I suggested “wheat allergy?” and received the same looks. The staff seemed nice and food looked good, but with the obvious cross-contamination and lack of understating of Celiac I wouldn’t risk it.

I was really nervous about eating here but I was pleasantly surprised! Only the falafel and lamb are gluten-free. The falafel and French fries are the only things that are fried (French fries are gluten free as well), so the oil is safe.
The person serving me (maybe the manager)? Was super knowledgeable about allergies/gluten and brought up the fryer oil before I could ask. I asked him to change his gloves which he happily did, but he also mentioned that everything was served using separate tongs so there’s no cross contamination. (All the toppings have their own serving utensil kept in the bin.)
The rice is gluten free so you can get a falafel or lamb plate with French fries!
Pretty much all the toppings, including the white sauce are gluten free (except for the tabbouleh obviously). Halal Guys also has an allergen list on their website you can check.

I got the chicken over rice, ordered through an app. Even in the app, we were able to customize what we ordered (like no pita). White sauce is gluten free and comes on the side for any non-dairy eaters.

Well that was a mistake. Good, but glutened.
No
I am recently gluten free and am so excited that the chicken is gluten free! You can get the platter with no pita and falafel!
Not Celiac friendly. Went to try it and they put their pita bread on top of their meat on the grill. I left. nope.
The chicken platter is my go-to. They say the falafel is GF as well but I was worried for cross contamination.
