Awful experience here. Spent the rest of the night crying in pain. Let me preference this by saying I am EXTREMELY ‘allergic’ to wheat/gluten- I have celiac disease, an autoimmune disease which prevents be from eating wheat. This was CLEARLY communicated to my waiter. I ordered tacos and chips/queso. My waiter checked twice to make sure they could make it gluten free and rung it up as an allergy, great (the situation truly wasn’t his fault and he was amazing, Butters, I believe?). My dishes came out by a food runner, I asked him if this was corn, he confirmed that it was. I took a bite of the taco and immediately knew it was flour. The waiter came by, confirmed the flour and went to see what happened. I continued eating the chips and my waiter came back with the correct order. Later in the night, the waiter came back, informing me that the chips that I was almost done with also had flour. Lovely. The manager came by as well, and “apologized”. Everyone at the table knew his apology was fake, it was clear he did not care at all, did not even ask if I was okay. For someone with any type of actual allergy or food intolerances, I would stay FAR AWAY from this place. With all the separate kitchens, food runners, waiters, etc, there is no way an allergy can be communicated properly or followed through with. The lack of any care from management was absolutely appalling. Plus, the food was not good at all. Taco Bell sells MUCH better tacos, $22 cheaper. Not only did I have an awful experience, but multiple people in my party of 7 did as well. One of my friends drinks did not come out until we were all finished with our meals! Several other drinks did not come out until after we started eating. Drinks were the first thing we ordered. Again, with all the separate food runners, drinks were even getting messed up and everyone was accidentally drinking each other’s drinks. Only two people at the entire table actually somewhat enjoyed their meals and we all got different kitchens. Far too expensive for mediocre food, at best. This place has been open for FAR too long to be this much of a disaster. I will not return and I hope you think twice about it as well.
