My waitress was very nice, but would not recommend this place to anyone with celiac. The items marked gf on the menu are not necessarily gluten free. The loaded nachos - chips are in a shared fryer so not celiac safe. I was told none of the burgers are safe as the patties have wheat binders. I ended up ordering the nut crusted ono, however the nut crusted option was not gluten free so I just had grilled ono. I asked lots of questions and the server wasn’t very knowledgeable about gluten as she thought I couldn’t have my vegetables cooked in butter. I definitely took a risk eating here, but not sure if I would return.
First, you must have access to the base as a military personnel or guest of one. Our server clearly did not understand gluten free diet or the menu in general. The longer we interacted with him the less confident we were about the food. After 15 minutes and several interactions about gluten free options we decided to leave the restaurant.
I eat here regularly without issues. They have udis gluten free buns. I can have most of their burgers, the kalua pork dip on a gf bun, some of the fish options, and steak. Nachos are an option except chips are possibly made in a shared fryer. all wait staff has been helpful and friendly.
