This place is amazing!! Such good quality food and plenty of gluten free options (they have a fairly small menu but delicious so doesn’t really matter to me). Fries fried in tallow, dedicated fryer. Definitely try this place if you are in Evergreen looking for a high quality and delicious meal! They are doing it right here.
The Lazy Butcher is a great local butcher in Evergreen that sells amazing meats and provisions. A lot of their provisions are labeled gluten free and most if not all are locally sourced. Gluten free provisions include chips, sauces, seasonings, pickled vegetables, cocktail mixes, beef tallow and other cooking fats, etc.
They do also sell non gluten-free provisions (breads, ice cream, soups, etc.) so it is best to check labels or simply ask the staff - they are great!
They also just recently opened a BBQ/burger restaurant attached to the butcher and it is so good! They offer gluten free buns for all of their sandwiches, and all of their seasonings and sauces are gluten free with the exception of the Carolina BBQ. The fries are fried in beef tallow and are soooo good. Staff was very accommodating to let the kitchen know of my dietary needs.
