Gluten free fish and chips were amazing!!! The batter was light and crispy, and the haddock fresh and delicious. I am not sure if they had a separate fryer, I have celiac, and had no problems after eating their fish and chips. As appetizer, we got grilled goat cheese on the bed of salad and it was incredible! We also got hot Scottish smocked salmon with salad which was delightful! And for dessert — gluten free gooey brownie with ice cream is a MUST!
The only food that is 100% gluten free is the sandwich that they make on the go, without the mustard and the fries (basically, just gf bread and ham). The staff understands cross-contamination issues but they do not have a dedicated frier nor a dedicated kitchen space so the only food that is safe for celiacs is the above.
Staff was helpful. They have gluten free bread and several food options. Soup made daily is typically gluten free. Have gluten free batter for fish and chips, and have a separate fryer to enjoy the local, fresh fish. It was incredibly tasty. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
