The last review was over two years ago, but a well intending friend picked this as a group dinner location. The menu has drastically changed it seems based on past reviews and there was very little selection. I got the pulled pork sandwich and I barely ate two bites before I started feeling sick. Needless to say, I will not be eating here again. My beer savvy friends also declared it a bad “beer cafe” as the beer menu consisted mainly of IPA’s with very little selection otherwise.

Cider list was just as long as the beer list, at least 30 different ones. They have gf buns and let me know that I could do chips or potato salad for gf sides. Good, local feeling place!

There are tons of cider options and I found a new favorite here. They aren’t marked as to what is GF but you can google them or stick to ones you know are safe. The menu can almost all be made GF and the items are clearly marked. I also had the Gouda burger with a great GF bun. It was delicious! Great experience and will definitely be back

I did not have a reaction to the meatballs which were delicious. I did have a reaction to the gluten free pizza - I assume it was prepped & cooked in the same oven as non gluten free pizzas. Assuming same utensils also.
Absolutely delicious pizza & meatballs.

Had Bbq smashburger with a gf bun that didn't crumble. Delicious. Many GF options.

Shared ovens but they use special trays and extra precautions to keep food safe. Chef actually came out to speak with me to tell me what steps he took to prevent CC (changing gloves, specific tray for GF, washing prep area). I didn’t get sick and really enjoyed the bacon Gouda flatbread and buffalo chicken nachos!
Just ate here after reading reviews. Flatbread was undercooked and ok. They were not sure that the veggie burger was GF so had to skip it. Very nice staff food so so.
The gluten free flatbread is delicious and not your typical frozen gf pizza crust. I am also a vegetarian so the flatbread and bean burger are all I can eat here. Also a great cider/beer selection and a good atmosphere. One of our regular spots!

Enjoyed my dinner here. It was a nice and very kid friendly restaurant. Seating outside and in. Games in both places. Enjoyed my gf flatbread and blueberry cider!
Stopped in on vacation. My GF burger was good and they had good kids meals too (my kids don't eat gf). We went at lunchtime and it wasn't too busy.

Maine Beer Cafe, yes they have alot of beer but they also have about 40 ciders! Unfortunately only 1 GF Beer.GF pizza is good. GF buns for sandwichs and their signature cheeseburgers which are very good! They do not have a fryer but the nachos are GF. Nachos are great and Large portions! Small friendly atmosphere with lots of games to play. Outside seating too. Theme nights. Specials M-F. A great place, you'll be happy that you tried it.

The staff as very friendly and accommodating. Best burger I have had in a while with amazing gluten-free bun. Huge selection of local beer and cider with gluten free options available.
