Winnemucca’s best kept secret. Stopped here to wait for break in storm. Found this using the Find Me GF app. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. She knew what contained gluten and steered us away. The delicious king cut rib eye was cooked perfectly, and the sides provided were GF and excellent. An abundance of great food, a friendly environment. Definitely recommend.

For a town with limited gluten-free, this was a good place for me. They were packed for a Rodeo that day and I ate at the bar. The bar tender checked each item to ensure what I could have. She even comped my drink because you can only eat about half the items on the menu. I go back when I need somewhere to eat in Winnemucca.

The waitress knew immediately what I could order when I told her I was Celiac. She errored with caution on some of the sides which is fine with me as I prefer safety over vetting through each ingredient in every dish. Honestly, they offer so much food, even if I could have enjoyed every dish I would not be able to eat that much!! I had the pork chops which were pan seared with apple sauce. The quaintness of this place is that you share a table with others and we had a great time with our diners. The sides are plentiful….FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANTLY WINE IS INCLUDED!!! Then, chorizo and vegetable stew with bread for the table. Then salad, beans,fries, carrots and mashed potatoes. Who could eat all of that? The waitress verified the stew, salad, carrots and mashed. I skipped the fries ( no dedicated fryer) bread, and beans. Amazing experience!!! Highly recommend

I had the salmon, which came “blackened.” I made sure that included nothing gluten. It was lovely and delicious.

John was very helpful; I called him in advance to explain my allergies and when I showed up he walked through them with me and gave me options. I had the salad, special steamed vegetables and a steak. All were delicious and I didn’t get sick. Highly recommend.
