I came in for a family dinner. The menu was marked to show items available gluten-free. I had the small steak with a green salad and baked potato. The salad was good with a ginger dressing and the steak was lean and tasty. The potato had an odd flavor and wasn’t crisp on the outside. I have a dairy allergy and asked for olive oil with my potato which they brought. Other family members enjoyed their meals.
We came here with hopes like all restaurants. I was very pleasantly surprised to have a great waiter that was very knowledgeable about gluten and all allergies. Tylerchecked my food before serving and because the kitchen put a bun on my plate made them re cook the whole meal. Bravo for him!
Not safe for celiacs at all! Their menu states GF chips and GF fries but when I asked if it was a separate fryer, the mgr said no! That the heat gets high enough to kill the gluten! OMG… We left but not before I explained to the main mgr about cross contamination and how irresponsible it is to have GF options listed that are not safe for the community.
This restaurant list GF by many items on their menu. When I asked to be sure, three times their answers were, "GF is gluten friendly". Nothing can be certain to be gluten free because to this restaurant, GF is not gluten free. The manager came over to our table and explained even the Cheese Fries marked GF are fried in the same fryer as breaded foods and are cross contaminated. Be careful with your choices if you are gluten-free. I am and ate a side salad.
gf marked on the menu, good food
