I’m deeply grateful for The Mule! I feel totally safe eating there and the food and service is always incredible. The staff proactively ask about allergies, sensitivities, and even check in about cilantro aversion! Everything on the menu is gluten free except a few drinks behind the bar. The tacos were delicious! Also had the chicken and waffles and guacamole. Unreal. Must go.

We did takeout from here a couple of times, each time getting a build-your-own tacos setup with a variety of meats, veggies, and sauces, and it was really delicious and really fun. Their sauces are so good, I mean our family of four loves the cilantro and spice and creamy/tangy sauces. But we're not picky eaters, aside from not eating GLUTEN. We also got the nachos and guacamole and everyone liked the thick nachos and dip. I will come back here every time I'm in Hamilton, and my experience here also led me to dine in their restaurant in London, which was also excellent. Just love that this place is 100% gf. Whole place is gluten free - they serve beer but the bar isn’t close to the kitchen. I’ve eaten here for years (since they opened) and am celiac, zero gluten poisoning here.

They also happen to be owned and run by a pretty cool local team so bonus points for that.

Since diagnosed with Celiac in June, this is the first and only 100% dedicated Celiac restaurant I’ve been in. It was a miracle. Nicest most positive delightful staff and manager. My friend is not celiac and loved the smashed potato meal. I had a cornbread French toast with fresh fruit candied bacon . It was perfection, served with real maple syrup and excellent coffee. This was a terrific experience. I feel like moving to Hamilton (not) but hey it’s that great!

Mule is so tasty, 100% dedicated entire restaurant to gluten free…I can order ANY food from the menu and not worry, not be a pain with questions about contamination/exposure to gluten etc etc…I feel normal here but spoiled normal! Lol! Delicious! At brunch hours, order the fried chicken (nuggets)! You’ll thank me later lol! $5.00 for a bowl of chicken nuggets that are to-die-for and a delish dipping sauce!

I am celiac and brought a non celiac friend. All items made in the kitchen are 100% GF!!!!! He loved his fish tacos and was able to order a gluten containing beer. I ordered wine, nachos & guacamole and beef tacos. So amazing. I will be back.

The food is delicious and the layers of different and complementary flavors make their tacos a novel experience. Got a big appetite? Plan on spending a bunch because the tacos are small. Their establishment is GF, but they do carry some regular beers. Overall a yummy experience.

This place is fantastic! A completely GF facility, which is so hard to find for us! Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband and I shared fish tacos, pork bahn mi, and the Greek cheese. We also shared the cheesecake and choc pot desserts! Everything was delicious, and most importantly, safe!
