I’ve been coming here weekly for trivia for almost a year, and haven’t had any reactions. After reading a review from 2018, i triple checked and was assured the chips are fried in separate oil and are fully gluten free. I also confirmed that the queso is gluten free as well. Waiters are very accommodating!

They have a GF menu but it may be more suitable for gluten sensitivity, not an allergy. The staff does not seem knowledgable about allergies, cross-contamination, etc. I got a rice bowl from the GF menu but had a reaction so I think there may have been gluten in it.

I have celiac and have never had a problem. Eat there at least once a month.

They are super nice and well meaning but the staff are not always careful with allergy awareness. I ordered the taco with the soft corn tortilla. It looked different to me, and I questioned it and the server looked at the slip and told me it was the corn tortilla, not the flour tortilla. I had my husband taste it, and it was a flour tortilla. I sent it back and ordered a bowl instead. The next time we went in, we had the same server, and the same thing happened! The owners were not there, and the server did not apologize so I have not gone back.
The owner of the restaurant is very knowledgeable. There isn't a separate fryer for chips. The pork bowl is great and so is the Mexican street corn.
