The North Branch Cafe

All but a few items are GF, and those that aren’t are from an outside bakery, so not prepared in-house. My daughter has celiac and I’m gluten sensitive and we had a great experience. Staff was very aware of our needs and even asked about other allergies. Great sushi and spring rolls, and the cafe was beautiful and relaxing.

The owners are celiac and the staff is very knowledgeable. The vast majority of the menu is GF, non-GF items are made in a separate kitchen.

This place is great. Great food and atmosphere. Had the gf chicken pesto wrap and a gf molasses ginger cookie. Amazing. Lots of gf options.

Really tasty flatbreads and spring rolls. Amazing tea selection. Chef has celiac disease so everything seemed very safe.

The food is delicious. The staff is super friendly & knowledgeable. The atmosphere is cozy. The ambiance is fine. Wide selection of GF offerings. The place is mainly aimed at tea and wine, but we were here for food. Neither of us got tea or wine. We had chicken & brie sandwiches on GF flatbread, with GF black bean chili. He had coffee and I had chai latte. The gender neutral bathroom was fine. I was disappointed that there was no crustless quiche. (That was in days BC (before Covid.)) I took off one star because I did not like being asked to take off my boots and wear loaner Crocs. Maybe that doesn't bother others but it cost a star in my book. I appreciate their reasons for this request but that doesn't make me less curmudgeonly about it.

Very clear and polite staff, good food and owners daughter has Celiac. Very knowledgeable.

Celiac friendly?

Yes

Wonderful place for gf sweets and small plates. They always have cookies and cupcakes and sometimes other gf treats. They have gf cracker and cheese plates as well as quinoa salad and crust-less quiche. Owners daughters have celiac so staff is well trained on cross contamination! The atmosphere and vibe are warm and welcoming, great place to sit with friends or read a book!
