Absolutely perfect! The safe AND delicious food (Red Snapper w Lump Crab meat...yum), very attentive staff, just an extraordinary dining experience. Topped off by their pineapple sorbet...a great experience all around. Make reservations or get comfortable for a long wait.
Very cool historic house. Not very many choices at lunch time. I cannot speak for dinner. Waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. Three stars was given for lack of variety.
Went tonight to the Olde Pink House for dinner. they do have a separate gluten free menu with much to choose from and the food was delicious. Brian, our server, was great and knowledgeable. If I ever make it back to Savannah I will go back.
The food and service were fine. However I was disappointed to find out they have elimated there GF menu. Now the waiter lets you know which items can be modified. The waiter we had was ok, at letting me know. But the way he descibed it made me nervous. I got the scallops because that was what he described as GF the best.
I had high expectations of this place and made it very clear that I have Celiac Disease and cannot eat any gluten. I ordered a simple Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad with no croutons. They brought it out to me and I took a bite and noticed croutons in the salad. I alerted the waiter to replace my salad and they were apologetic. They brought me a second salad with no croutons but as I was eating, I noticed a huge black bug crawling on some lettuce in my salad. I was disgusted and alerted the waiter. He took my salad away and apologized. By that time, the two other people I was eating with were done with their dinner. I had to ASK them for a THIRD salad which they assumed I didn't want another. They bring the THIRD salad and I was so disgusted that I did not bother to eat it. They shortened our bill due to me only having two bites of dinner. On top of that, the waitress serving the table next to us kept rolling her eyes at my table and flashing us dirty looks thinking we were lying and making a big deal when we were as calm as could be trying to correct the salad and handle the situation. I am absolutely appalled and taken aback by the nasty waitress. She is lucky they took her out of the room to "counsel" her because I wanted to ask her why she felt the need to flash my table dirty looks when I obviously have Celiac Disease and cannot eat gluten. I don't want to eat a huge black bug either! No telling what kind of poisoning that would have done!! They also don't have a gluten free menu as "guess" off the top of their head whether an item has gluten or not. There is no guessing with Celiac Disease. It's not a joke and restaurants need to educate their staff about food allergies and diseases for crying out loud!
GF menu, knowledgeable staff The bartender fixed a slightly different drink for me, instead of the Pink Lady, so he certain that it was all gf. Had the scallops the first time and the burger the second. We subbed a different side for the fries just to be safe. It was all delicious and I had no problems later.
Amazing! Very accommodating and made me feel "normal". Shrimp and grits were delicious as were the jumbo sea scallops with bacon mashed potatoes.
Food and drinks are absolutely delicious. Dedicated GF menu. Had the GF shrimp and grits. Great service and atmosphere. Make sure to reserve a table ahead of time. Wait was long.
We ate dinner here and they provided a separate GF menu when we asked. The waitress was very attentive and showed a lot of knowledge about a GF diet for celiacs. She offered a delicious crudite for my husband in lieu of the bread they normally bring while we reviewed the menu; she even asked if I still wanted bread or if I preferred for it to not be present on the table. From appetizer to dessert there were so many options and our entire meal was completely delicious. We were well attended and even the kitchen runner who brought our meal confirmed that my husband's meal was prepared GF upon it's arrival to the table. Clearly communication and coordination from top to bottom. This was our favorite meal the entire trip. A fantastic dining experience.

They have a separate lunch menu for GF you just have to ask. The beacon burger is moist and the bacon is crispy. I would not get the fries as a side, those are not good. I would recommend it
My family and I had a wonderful dining experience! Lots of gf options. Our server was extremely knowledgeable. The praline basket with homemade vanilla bean ice cream topped with fresh fruit so delicious! I am extremely sensitive to gluten and I was well taken care of. Thank you Olde Pink House!
Salmon is delicious and I changed side for collards and grits which were fantastic.
Excellent gluten free options, knowledgable staff and impeccable service. They have gluten free corn bread that is served warm! It was so relaxing to eat there because I knew my food was totally gluten free.
I too was hesitant to eat here after reading a previous review. I have to say I am happy I listed to my belly...very good food, plenty of options that are gluten free (although they do not have GF bread/bun option) however this is not a place I would visit for a burger. I opted for their special the evening my wife and I visited, a 14-16oz. bone in center cut heritage pork chop, perfectly seasoned, on top of a bed of sauteed Swiss chard and arugula and a butternut squash risotto served in a miniature pumpkin. Did not have dessert (no room in my belly) Would recommend.
Food was very good!!! server was helpful and able to deal with my multiple food allergies, including gluten.
A previous reviewer made us weary of eating here, but we're really glad we went!!! The food was delicious, perfectly seasoned, sauced, and cooked! Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable staff, gorgeous and historic space! Husband and I split the portobello mushroom app and we were given a vegetable crudité for free in place of bread. He had the bacon cheddar burger (no bun, but he didn't miss it bc it was so delicious/juicy/perfectly seasoned); I had the gazpacho and cooked oysters. We were offered fresh cracked black pepper with everything and waited on hand and foot by many of the staff. We did make reservations but at 5pm on a Fri, they weren't necessary. Our waiter filled us in on the history of the house, which pre-dates the Revolutionary War!! Definitely worth stopping in!!!
My favorite Savannah treat! Staff is great at letting the kitchen know if you are Celiac. Great options in GF menu make for an amazing experience every time.
Their idea of gluten free is "leave off the gravy" "without the bun" "without the butter" Pretty standard excuse to Celiac's that we must put up with second rate dry tasteless meals while paying full price. My steak was served barely warm, dry, and tasteless. The plate they replaced it with was over peppered and nearly as dry. We arrange reservations at least one night in advance. When we went in person to make a reservation for the following night, there were none available. Staff lied about early dinner seating being "no problem". When we arrived for a very early dinner, we were taken to the dungeon (basement) and told it was a 45 minute wait. Or we could eat quicker "at the bar". Ten (10) minutes later we were called to a table. However, tables in the dungeon basement have a massive pedestal base which prevents putting feet under the table. To eat in the basement one must lean over to reach the food, or sit with ones knees almost touching the underneath of the table, or sit sideways. There was suddenly a "reservation" avaliable for the time we wanted when I complained about the issues eating in the basement. Upstairs the air conditioners blast cold air for a few minutes, then let the room gets very warm waiting for the next blast of frigid air to cool it down. It is too dark inside at 6:30 in June to read the menu or see your meal. We used our phone flashlight app for adequate light. Juggling my phone, fork, and knife was not fun and I gave up trying to eat leaving hungry. The air conditioner vent outside the ladies room drips water onto patrons. DO NOT wear your nice clothing to have it ruined by dirty disgusting air conditioner condensate dripping on you. Meals "arrive" via a person who stands in the corner holding your meal while your server finishes with other tasks - your food is being nicely chilled by that overhead air blast. Customers waiting for a table are allowed to wander thru the house the entire time standing over diners. It is far too expensive for being given the run around with tables, reservations and sub par food, bad tables, feeeze then roast and back again, and standard Celiac's just have to suck it up with half the meal. Gravies and sauces are part of the platter

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Went for lunch and the GF menu was good. Options included sandwiches without bread which I have found to be typical but the entrees were unique and yummy. The fish tacos were great, complete with blue corn tortillas!
Best gluten free food and service I had anywhere in Savannah. This was a knock out dining experience, started with great cocktails downstairs where there is a piano bar. Many gfree options on the menu. I had the pork tenderloin with greens and sweet potatoes and it was delicious.
Sat at the bar and the bartender was very helpful and aware about being "highly" allergic. She even made me a special drink to accommodate me. They have a separate GF menu with a lot of options. I Ordered the iceberg wedge salad and the shrimp and grits. Delicious!!! And I was not sick at all afterwards. (I'm very verrryyyy sensitive) I would definitely recommend this restaurant for other celiacs.
My husband and I shared the cheese plate and seafood cocktail with no reactions. Nice place, a bit pricey.
Best restaurant in town before and after celiac diagnosis! They have a separate gf menu with lots of variety. I recommend the shrimp and grits appetizer! Waitress and host were knowledgeable and very friendly. We will surely be back again.
I loved the historic site. They have a separate GF menu. It only gets 3 stars because I found a noodle in my dish and had to send it back.
Service and food was wonderful! Our waitress double checked on our dessert because it tasted too good to be GF (it was!). It was, by far, the best GF meal I think I've ever had. Wish we were staying longer so I could eat there again. Highly recommend!
GF menu. Knowledgeable wait staff. Waiter knowledgeable on celiac and cross contamination. Crispy scored flounder was excellent. Best restaurant in town.
Our lunch outing was a complete success! Mom got a Mother's Day treat...and I got a great gluten free lunch! The fish tacos were exceptional and our sweet waitress, Jade, was so accommodating and friendly....we will be back.
Food was great & chef even prepared something not on the GF menu for me but made it GF! I was very happy.
Visited on 9/21, mid-afternoon. Initially we were given a very limited bar-type menu, however after explaining my GF needs, the manager brought out a regular lunch menu with many more options. Server was VERY knowledgeable & super helpful. Had the mahi fish tacos - delicious!!
