Wonderful stay, never got sick and all people knew what celiac was. For breakfast the chef personally prepared something in the back for me with a buffet menu

I had an exceptional experience with many options available and very careful and knowledgeable staff! Most restaurants have a GF option for almost every menu option. A must visit resort for Ciliacs or GF'ers.
Don't even bother with the Omni Homestead. Most here don't even understand what gluten is much less the role gluten plays in the life of celiac sufferers. The main dining hall is a rather limited dinner menu on top of a formal dress requirement. The Jefferson restaurant only offered a banana split as the sole GF option during our stay. The lobby bar offered zero assistance and no GF options on their food list. Twice we were directed to use the room service menu that supposedly has much more to offer leaving the clear message that if celiacs is a concern one must stay in their room and pay extra service charges for the staffs inconvenience. All in all, this place exudes a bunch of overpriced pretentious hubbub as if it is a privilege for you to stay there. Needless to say, we cut our two night romantic getaway short and checked out after the first night. You will get better service at the holiday inn express in nearby Lewisburg WV.

Unfortunately at the casino restaurant I got really sick. They may have mixed up our pastas. They were extremely concerned and even called up to the room to see if they could do anything to help. I've never had any restaurant go so far out of there way when I got sick so this saves their rating. I suggest always talking to the chef here. Also told me where the hospital was(about 5 min away).
Great selection at the Jefferson restaurant . The chef came to the table to talk with me about my food allergies and made suggestions and was more than willing to adapt any meal I chose. Most of the menu is glue free.
