Review of The Painted Burro

I had a great experience at The Painted Burro! I called ahead and talked to the hostess who explained that although they don’t have a GF menu, the servers are very knowledgeable. Upon sitting down, I explained to the server that I have C.D. and would have lots of questions. The waiter immediately started to explain what was safe, what was not safe, and what was at risk for contamination. The chips are fried in the same fryer as non-GF Foods, so instead, the waiter brought me a separate salsa and veggies. I had the mahi mahi taco and the kale/plantain side dish. So far, I’m feeling good!
