Just got sick here after being assured that everything I had ordered was gluten free. She came out after to tell me the sauce was not gluten free and then I found out later the shrimp had breading in it. Too bad an upscale restaurant can't get the basics right. Will never eat at this chain again.
The waiter was awesome! Super knowledgeable. I wanted a cocktail and he explained to me what alcohol was in the drink and then when he came back he forgot one of the drinks that was in it but told me that he googled and researched it to make sure it was safe for me. The food was fantastic and I felt extremely safe. He even brought us a complementary crème brûlée that was also gluten free.
Do not eat here if you are celiac. I finally got answers on their GF menu. Some of the potato dishes are not marked as GF because they have “witnessed the cooks sprinkle flour” into the dishes for texture even though the recipe is GF originally. It’s hard to get a consistent answer with every visit. Last visit, I got extremely ill, even though I was very careful with what I ordered. I will choose going to Morton’s over this location every day.
They don’t seem to care about cross contamination or educating their kitchen staff.
Great service and was very accommodating to my needs! There is a gluten free menu (plenty of entrees and some sides, no dessert).
I’m also vegetarian, and they made me gf pasta with roasted veggies on top. Pretty good!
I went in anxious because there is nothing listed as gf on the website, but I left happy/felt safe eating here.
I ate here with a party of friends. We had a curated menu so my options were limited. I couldn’t eat any of the appetizers but they were able to make the first course salad gluten free for me. The browned Parmesan cheese looked like bread crumbs though so that freaked me out a bit lol. The 2nd course I could eat the steaks and boy the steaks were so good. Sides were served family style. I took asparagus and garlic potatoes before anyone else served themselves. The food was delicious and I had no gluten reaction! They even made me a bowl of berries with cream as a sub for dessert!
The waiters were very knowledgeable about what was gluten free on their menu. I did call ahead and let them know that I was coming in that evening for the party with a gluten allergy and they noted that in their system. They also told me that they cook everything separately, so there’s very little chance of cross contamination in their kitchen. (So steak is only made with other steaks for example). They also told me their fryers were shared so to not order anything fried. I would definitely trust them to make me food again!
