Certain items on the menu are marked GF, but upon telling the waiter I wanted the GF version of that item, he said then it would just be a plain piece of chicken (I wanted the portabella chicken or the marinated chicken). So I disappointedly ordered the shrimp and it was great. The salad bar is not labeled but obvi stay away from the croutons.

My server didn't seem super knowledgeable. I did ask him to notify the kitchen that I had a gluten allergy (its easier for me to say that than explain what celiac disease is and i think people take it more serious). I actually ate off of the salad bar. I used the packets of dressing though because they were marked gf and the waiter wasn't sure if the ranch was gf (said he'd ask but didn't come back so i just went with the packet). I got the filet and a loaded baked potato. Both delicious. I didn't get sick

The best steak place! I had the Ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. The wild rice is GF but not dairy free (boiled in butter and water). The whole salad bar is GF except croutons. The salad dressings are Kraft brand (I asked) and it was amazing. Def recommend. Other items on menu are marked GF. We eat here everytime we come to gatlinburg.

Salad bar was extensive and delicious. Best steak I think I’ve ever had! Everything was clearly marked on the menu!

Kitchen staff was very careful to not contaminate my food. They even came out to let me know the marinade on the chicken wasn’t safe, so they cooked me plain chicken. Very delicious and excellent service!

Waitress told me the chicken marinade was gf, but the actual waiter the took our order said that marinade is not gf free. That the only way it is gluten free is a plain chicken breast. I ordered the gluten free steak fries, did not try the salad bar. We eat at around 830pm, drove back to our friends house, and at 230am i had very bad reactions, vomiting and diarrhea for the night. Nothing on this menu was gluten free for someone with celiac. Maybe for the people that want to eat gf, but would not recommend it at all

My experience at The Peddler was phenomenal. Each main meal comes with the salad bar, which I was very hesitant to try due to risk of cross-contact. Our waitress, Jenny, informed me that the only gluten-containing item at the salad bar was the croutons at the end of the line, but I still didn't want to risk it. Jenny sensed my hesitation and offered to make me a salad in the kitchen with whatever I wanted. I ordered the ribeye and baked potato, both of which were very tasty and perfectly cooked. I was informed that nothing containing gluten is cooked on the grill, and I did not experience any gluten exposure symptoms. Would highly recommend to anyone with Celiac looking for a nice, sit-down meal.

Staff was very knowledgable about Gluten Free items (and GF items were marked on the menu) Has the Ribeye, Grilled Shrimp, baked potato and salad bar!
Gluten Free options were marked on the menu.

Yes they are gluten free. They say the salad bar is gf on the menu, but no one really could affirm the dressing was. Overall too pricey for a mediocre dining experience.

The wait staff is knowledgeable. They have a salad bar that is awesome with packets of Kens dressing. The menu does state gf options. I felt very safe eating here and is one of my favorite restaurants in Gatlinburg. I just wish they had gluten free bread.
