I got the gluten free waffle which was very thick and filling but also a little bland. So add fruit or chocolate chips. I got scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. Everything tasted great.
TL;DR: If you’re just avoiding gluten casually, this place is GREAT. If you have any actual sensitivity, RUN AWAY.
My friends love the food here and showed me their GF menu, so I came along. But then I was advised by the manager that it is impossible to prepare food safely. It took 1/2 hour for my server to actually find this out.
SO BEWARE: Staff is friendly but does NOT understand food allergies enough to be helpful.
They are NOT gluten free! They cook everything in the same area and use the same utensils. The chef refused to even wash out a separate pan for us to cook the eggs in. He said he would only wipe it out. Thankfully the waitress warned us of this or we would have been contaminated for sure. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE CELIAC. You will wait 45 minutes just to have them tell you they cannot accommodate you. We had to leave and go elsewhere. should really be zero stars....
I just spoke with them and they use the same waffle iron and cooking surfaces for regular food and GF and don't do anything to prevent cross-contamination. Celiacs beware!
