Despite assurances that the fries would be safe to eat, I was glutened here.
Called to place an order after a friend chose the restaurant for all their gluten free options/advertising. On the phone learned that the sandwiches couldn’t be prepared celiac safe, as the kitchen isn’t celiac safe and they don’t have separate utensils etc. Asked if the fries would be celiac safe, was assured that they would be.
Ended up getting sick, definitely due to gluten contamination. Wild to have advertising for your gluten free options everywhere, even painted on the window, and then be unable to make celiac safe food.
I used to love the real deal but unfortunately I’ve gotten sick here. I’m a celiac. I have no issues with burgers or fries (dedicated fryer!!) but the pizza has been an issue, so mixed bag.
Not sure if it’s cross contact during packaging or something they do during the cooking process :( so essentially great for burgers & fries and not great for pizza, RIP.
One thing I like is that GF items have GF built into the name, like if you order the Bigfoot burger, online ordering offers it to you as the “gluten free Bigfoot burger.” They also leave plenty of open text space and opportunities to further describe your allergy.
