They have Udi buns, but no separate fryer so no french fries. You'll need to know your contaminants as not all the servers know about celiacs. Often the tacos are safe and several of the salad bowls too.

Food was good and the server was knowledgeable about gluten allergies. I was able to have a burger on an Udi’s roll with a side salad.

Ok so I took a chance since the reviews were mixed- the waitress was helpful but clearly not knowledgeable. GF items weren’t marked on the menu- I explained I was celiac and asked what she thought were good choices- she suggested a burger on a GF bun or a couple of different salads but one contained cous cous…. At that point I asked if she’d mind checking with the chef! I ended up with the slow cooked pork taco on corn tortillas which was really good. I am Celiac but have no adverse GI symptoms so can’t say I am fully confident there is no cross contamination but the chef assured me that the meal was GF. I wouldn’t go back for this reason

The one time I ate here I requested a GF bun and did not receive one. I was sick within an hour. Wouldn’t go again.

Burger on GF bun was tasty. Kid menu and coloring sheets.
Gluten heavy kitchen but they do their best to offer choices and I wasn’t sick after. However the meal itself was ‘Meh’ so I’d try a different place next time.
I would give them a 5 if I felt they really could really make things 100% celiac safe 100% of the time. They have awesome food and a great atmosphere and it's the only place I go in Waterbury. I either get a burger or salad with a protein. The kale salad is amazing. They will take precautions for you, but it's a kitchen with lots of gluteny options, so at times I've had some very minor symptoms a day or two later. I still keep going back though. They have gf beer and free popcorn.

Traveled from a distance away because their online menu listed been from Harvester Brewery. The site hadn't been updated and they didn't carry the beer anymore. The buns they use for their burgers are delicious and staff was pretty helpful.
they have several gluten free options including gluten free hamburger buns! they also have a few gluten free beer and hard cider options.
Update 7/6/13
This place is still my go to for good food im central Vermont. I am celiac and very sensitive and have no problems with this place. The gfree buns are the best I've ever had- moist big and not crumbly. Very good burgers and the chipotle chicken sandwich is amazing. They also carry the best gfree craft beer made today - Harvester brewing. Very good restaurant.
Only reason for 4 stars is that they don't have a separate gfree menu.
