Amazing experience! We went two days in a row for breakfast. The “Benny”s are deconstructed plates with poached eggs, cooked mushrooms or ham, and stewed greens. I got the mushrooms (pretty good) one morning and subbed pork sausage (fantastic) the other. The gluten free sandwich bread was delicious! They also make their own grape jelly that is the perfect balance of tart and sweet. At lunch they have vegan gluten free “spicy” brownies. It was not spicy so much as it had a lot of cinnamon in it. We got one from the “day old” shelf and it was still delicious.

Many GF options! I would probably skip the GF bun and do a salad if I go again. I’ve had much better gf bread before. But still healthy and good options!

Busy location. You order at the register and then someone brings you your food. I was meeting someone, but I probably should have gone with my gut when I told the cashier that I have a wheat allergy, and he said “I got you, do you also have a gluten allergy? I can put it in for the gluten free bread instead of the white bread.” I thought maybe he was new, and didn’t understand the difference, but now I’m having a reaction.

Such a fun, laid back atmosphere with enough gluten free and soy free items to satisfy. One of our favs- lots of farm to table items so everything is fresh tasting.
I was crossing the country by car, having difficulty finding healthful GF food on the road. I was desperate for vegetables by the time I got to AR and I was so excited to find The Root Cafe! The service was great, the vibe was fun and festive, and the food was *amazing*... (as were some of the take out items we took, like the spiced pecans).

Ate breakfast here today. Staff asked if it was an allergy and took precautions. I did not get sick and I really enjoyed their gf bread and vegan salad dressing.

We love this place! It has a great vibe, friendly staff, and a menu with many ingredients from local farms. In fact, when you place your order, instead of giving you a number, they give you a little sign for your table that features one of the farms. I love that! The staff is very familiar with celiac disease and they take measures to be safe. Just specify when you order. There is a gluten-free key on the menu, but some extra items can be modified to be gluten-free as well. One of my favorite meals is the bratwurst which I order “salad style”. To drink, I love their house-made lavender lemonade.

Ordered a hamburger the GF bun was the worse, hard & tasteless. All seating is outdoors. The dressing for the salad was extremely strong with garlic. Couldn’t finish my salad due to the dressing.

Great spot in Little Rock. We were just driving through and stopped here based on this app. I had the cheeseburger with gluten free bun. I stated it was for an allergy and she said she would change all of the necessary ingredients. When I saw the burger I was a little scared because the bun looked like it would be dry but it ended up being a super good gluten free bun. It was almost like a Brazilian cheese bun with a little bit of chew to it. No upset stomach after eating and I was glad we stopped here!

Excellent food. Fryer is not dedicated, but they have GF buns for the sandwiches. I was a little worried about cross-contamination as I watched the kitchen on a busy lunch weekday, but I did not get sick.

This place has “it”. You know, that quality that’s impossible to really define but you can definitely feel, and taste it. The staff is top notch, the best! Celiac here and zero issues.

As a severe Celiac, I'm always wary trying smaller places. They were fantastic, and totally understood cross contamination. The food was fantastic and they even had dessert which almost never happens!
Yes
This was a fantastic meal. My daughter is a celiac, and when we asked about gluten free they went for a second menu and were able to tell us what their preparation work was. They also knew what celiac disease was which makes me feel better.
