I have celiac disease and had made last minute plans to view the solar eclipse in Vermont. I was having trouble finding safe gluten free places to eat but was lucky enough to end up staying around the corner from The Scale. The entire team was amazing and super nice about accommodating gluten free safely, and they followed all the appropriate precautions. And it was SO yummy! We ended up going there both nights we were in town. Furthermore, their takeout game is strong---we don't eat indoors anymore at restaurants since Covid, so it was lovely being able to get good takeout so easily. I already miss The Scale!!

Although a bit pricey, this tasty take-out restaurant offers excellent, fresh, made-to-order bowls with many protein, vegetarian, vegan, and dairy free options. Everything on the poke menu is gluten free except for the sesame shoyu sauce, onion crisps and mushrooms. Don't like tuna, salmon or shrimp? Go with chicken, beef or tofu. Don't want rice? Choose zoodles or greens. Lots of options and menu items, including build-your-own choices. Online ordering was easy and pickup was fast.

I love going to The Scale! The online menu is clearly marked and the staff are knowledgable about allergens. I even noticed that they have a list by the service window of all different allergens and any ingredients that contains them. I've had tuna, chicken, and salmon bowls and haven't gotten sick. Really good.
