I can’t say enough good things about Sinful Kitchen. I always feel safe eating here and my gluten-eating family and friends love it too. Be sure to make reservations if you are going on a weekend otherwise you’re looking at a long wait!

The server who took my order was quite aware of GF issues, which helped my confidence. Breakfast was just great. Poached eggs (often runny or overdone in many eateries) were perfect. Home fries stole the show, best I've ever had. Large, skin on, not at all greasy. I am now a fan of this place.

Separate gluten free area and cooking area.

Excellent gluten free options and substitutions. Owner/Chef is celiac so he knows gluten free and how to make yummy meals.

So good that I basically ate two meals in one sitting. The whole menu can be made gluten free, and the staff is very knowledgeable. After ordering my meal and forgetting to mention gluten free on one part, our server immediately checked with me to confirm, and she even had the chef make my husband’s side dish (nothing containing gluten) on the gluten free prep area so that I could share. I wish I wasn’t only visiting the area so that I could go back all the time.

Specified I needed gluten free and was given a gluten filled english muffin. I trusted this restaurant because the owner has celiac and we’ve had good luck here before, plus the reviews on here are great, but after tasting the English muffin and seeing I was not charged more for gluten free the waitress informed me it was NOT gluten free. They comped the meal and gave us a gift card to come back, but now I’m in severe pain and all the hard work to get my iron levels up is gone in a few bites. Mistakes do happen, but be sure to triple check before eating anything.

I had no earthly idea that gf waffles (or any waffles) could taste this good. Fantastic service too. We went on a Tuesday morning and there was no line. On the weekends there’s a waiting line out the door onto the sidewalk. Will definitely go back!

Absolutely incredible food and well worth the wait! Great options for any not-GF diners, but this is amazing for anyone gluten-free. GF pancakes are pretty easy to come by, but GF waffles aren’t. And they’re AMAZING! My breakfast sandwich was also incredible.

Saw all the great reviews today so decided to give them a shot. The choices are plentiful, so tasty, and a great atmosphere. The service is exceptional and the to be expected up charge was only on average $1.00! They wish to serve and not try to profit off of GF options. Please go when you are in the area! You will not be disappointed.

Excellent choices, gf items clearly marked! Worth the wait on weekends. Stuffed gf French toast, gf English muffins for all the Benedict’s, gf bread available. They only use Tito’s vodka - which is gf - for vodka drinks. They didn’t have any pancakes this visit, I think the menu changes from time to time. Great service & very knowledgeable staff!

Astoundingly good. Even with the many, many positive reviews, I still wasn’t prepared for how good it is. GF waffle pizza? My daughter rightly points out that this should have its own hashtag. And my other daughter, GF and not crazy about sausage or bacon, was thrilled with the variety of protein choices (including ham, tofu, bbq jackfruit, and more). And when the owner is Celiac, you know you’re in good hands. Make a reservation!

If you are visiting Portland, Sinful Kitchen is a must! I was informed that the owner has Celiac and therefore they have a dedicated prep space/waffle maker/tools in the kitchen, and our waitress was extremely knowledgeable about GF/dairy-free options. They have bread, pancakes, French toast, waffles, etc. I opted for the waffles as they are GF/dairy-free, and the waitress even brought the waffle mix (Golden Malted) out for me to read the ingredients. I would highly recommend this brunch spot!

Stopped here because of the reviews on our way to airport to leave Maine. Cute converted home with amazing gluten free offerings. This is a small local restaurant, and it looks like they regularly have a small wait time because of that. They also accept reservations. I had the strawberry and vanills stuffed gf french toast, which came with your choice of meat (bacon, breakfast sausage, ghost pepper sausage!!!, SPAM, pulled pork, and more, as well as home potatoes. Little details make this place unique: the mason jar hanging lights, the drawings on the walls from customers, the offerings like blueberry cola, to the locally made lavender-herb lotion in the restroom. and the FOOD. SO much for us gluten free-ers. We had a s'more muffin to start and took one home. they have cinnamon rolls! And all kinds of eggs benedicts and waffles. A real treat for us who are used to only a few things on a menu we can eat. Highly recommend this Sinful place for breakfast/brunch.
