Wow is the first word that comes to mind. I have been dying to try this place and wish I hadn’t waited so long. I had the french toast monte cristo and it was amazing. Best part is the owner has celiacs so I felt safe eating here. Next time I am in Portland I will definitely be coming back!
Excellent choices, gf items clearly marked! Worth the wait on weekends. Stuffed gf French toast, gf English muffins for all the Benedict’s, gf bread available. They only use Tito’s vodka - which is gf - for vodka drinks. They didn’t have any pancakes this visit, I think the menu changes from time to time. Great service & very knowledgeable staff!
Astoundingly good. Even with the many, many positive reviews, I still wasn’t prepared for how good it is. GF waffle pizza? My daughter rightly points out that this should have its own hashtag. And my other daughter, GF and not crazy about sausage or bacon, was thrilled with the variety of protein choices (including ham, tofu, bbq jackfruit, and more). And when the owner is Celiac, you know you’re in good hands. Make a reservation!
Awesome little brunch place in Portland! Everything on the menu can be made gluten free, I got french toast, which comes with home fries and bacon. Pretty good deal for delicious food. Would highly recommend checking out if you're in the area!
The staff and owners are friendly and extremely accommodating. The food is over the top. Favorites today - the eggs benny with crabmeat and avocado and lamb bacon. Came here for dinner and breakfast and gluten free offerings are the best. Try the muffins for a real treat!
This is the best place for breakfast to find everything you need gluten free. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable and will ask everyone in your party if you want any sides made gluten free (English muffin is very good). They are also beginning dinner soon and that menu looks amazing!
If you are visiting Portland, Sinful Kitchen is a must! I was informed that the owner has Celiac and therefore they have a dedicated prep space/waffle maker/tools in the kitchen, and our waitress was extremely knowledgeable about GF/dairy-free options. They have bread, pancakes, French toast, waffles, etc. I opted for the waffles as they are GF/dairy-free, and the waitress even brought the waffle mix (Golden Malted) out for me to read the ingredients. I would highly recommend this brunch spot!
Stopped here because of the reviews on our way to airport to leave Maine. Cute converted home with amazing gluten free offerings. This is a small local restaurant, and it looks like they regularly have a small wait time because of that. They also accept reservations. I had the strawberry and vanills stuffed gf french toast, which came with your choice of meat (bacon, breakfast sausage, ghost pepper sausage!!!, SPAM, pulled pork, and more, as well as home potatoes. Little details make this place unique: the mason jar hanging lights, the drawings on the walls from customers, the offerings like blueberry cola, to the locally made lavender-herb lotion in the restroom. and the FOOD. SO much for us gluten free-ers. We had a s'more muffin to start and took one home. they have cinnamon rolls! And all kinds of eggs benedicts and waffles. A real treat for us who are used to only a few things on a menu we can eat. Highly recommend this Sinful place for breakfast/brunch.
I can't rave enough about how amazing this place is. I have a rare allergy that makes it so much of the gluten free store bought food I cannot have. this place was so helpful by telling me brands that they use. We found amazing service, a relaxing atmosphere, and it wasn't loud even though they were full up on people. The food was honestly some of the best I have had at any restraunt - even before my diagnosis! I found myself enjoying it so much I lost track of anything else I was doing, to focus on the layers of flavors and texture. 34.00 for two people... and both of us were full. We will be taking more people next time. It will be a good idea to try to make a reservation, as they are always full.
By far the best breakfast I've had in Portland and surrounding. I had eggs bennie for the first time in years and it far surpassed my expectations. The homefries were excellent. Service was great. The entire menu can be made GF. Highly knowledgeable and accommodating. A little off the beaten path but every bit worth it.
Went here for brunch... We are in town for a wedding and this was close by. Ordered 2 different GF Benedicts with my group: original classic and one with avocado, crab meat, and bacon. Both were fantastic. Comes with a GF English muffin! Would recommend. Not super busy or overcrowded like you would see at Becky's and the food is way better.
I went for Sunday brunch. Nearly everything can be made gluten free, even the waffles (they have separate gluten & GF waffle makers). Menu is very clearly labeled. Great selection of brunch foods; I had eggs Benedict with avocado, crabmeat, & bacon! Very good.
