UPDATED 5/17/22: Due to staffing issues, Slinger House has CLOSED and is for sale.

Updated 11/30/21: Slinger House has turned to focus on their new Carriage House addition (future distillery I believe) and has revised their menu. NOTHING IS MARKED GF EXCEPT THE OPTIONAL BUN. I was told over the phone that they no longer have a gf menu. The wings etc are no longer gf. I ordered the avocado blt on a gf bun and a baked potato; the sandwich was ok but not the same seeded gf bun they used to serve. The potato was spectacularly BAD and had probably been baked at lunchtime.

PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION. I don't believe Slinger House should still be on this listing.

Old review: Waitress told me chef is celiac and takes safe food prep very seriously. That said, the updated menu (from 1-2 years ago) has gluten free options clearly labeled and many items can be modified - I had a wedge salad and she switched out the bacon (cooked in a shared fryer) with Italian ham. Always good food and friendly service.

Excellent food and knowledgeable staff. I have multiple food allergies and our waitress double checked the food with the chef and the GF drinks with the owner. The sweet potato fries are awesome. Would definitely go back. Confirmed they have a dedicated GF fryer.

My server was able to answer my questions and made me feel confident In the safety of my food. Confirmed they have a dedicated GF fryer which is also free of some other allergens I believe seafood and peanut? Pls confirm that! I had bacon cheese burger on GF bun and waffle Fries!! Very good and did not get sick!

I’m celiac and loved it. Shared nachos with husband and ordered boneless wings-side of fries that had dedicated fryer. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful

Celiac friendly?

Yes

The chef is GF and understands the GF palate. There are some appetizers and a handful of entrees that are GF and all the burgers can be on a GF bun. Three times I've been there and still haven't exhausted the GF options. Was surprised to experience such a wide array of high quality dishes in a small town of Slinger. Highly recommended!

Celiac friendly?

Yes

They have gluten free buns. Had the salmon BLT. Very good!
