I am an asymptomatic celiac, so I cannot attest to if I have been immediate glutened. The tortilla chips are made in a fryer with gluten, but they subbed that out for Fritos and I have the most AMAZING frito nachos with brisket. They said the kitchen changed gloves…etc etc and the sauces don’t have gluten. So yummy!
There are several things gf here. Obviously not the Mac & cheese and they have a shared fryer. They are pretty good about modifying things so I can eat them and I’ve never gotten sick eating here. The seasonal cheesecakes are made by a gal with celiac, so they are definitely gf!
The best bbq joint I’ve ever been to in the PNW, and I can’t believe most of their menu is gluten free! The brisket I had was so SO SO good, it was so soft and tasty - cooked to perfection. The pinto beans was delish and loved the meat pieces in there, and the potato salad was served in a cute mason jar (it was decent but probably wouldn’t get it again). I also had the picked beets and it was pretty good. They have this huckleberry infused vodka drink that tastes so good I had two without even thinking twice about it. Nice to have a bbq place that is true to its southern roots but also accommodates to GF folks!
Love that their bbq sauces and rubs are all gluten free which means that we can eat all their meat!!!! Yay! So yummy! Their menu is very well labeled so you can tell which sides are GF but there are only a few. Hope they improve on that soon. Other than that, two thumbs up.👍🏾👍🏾 Food is always great and I never get sick!
Although there were no gluten free buns or marked dishes, waitress confirmed sauce was gluten free. I had the half chicken with cole slaw and potato salad. Everything was delicious and very filling. Tried my boyfriend's Texas Trio and the sausage was the best sausage I've ever had. We will be back for sure!!
