Waitress was super knowledgeable about cross contamination and risks for Celiac. What she wasn’t able to answer (about the cocktails) she was able to ask her manager. Food was FANTASTIC! I had the chicken quarters with broth (had rutabaga, onions, and mushrooms). I will definitely eat there again!
OH MY GOODNESS! This place is amazing, like the hot new thing in Grand Rapids. I can guarantee I've never had Scandinavian food ever before but what the heck - the flavor explosion in my mouth of whatever I stuffed into my mouth was delicious. The price is a little above average but it was so worth it and they are super aware of food allergies and will try and accommodate you however possible. My boyfriend tells me that their drinks are superb and the atmosphere is super hip. I was told that much of the furniture was repurposed and all the aprons were handmade in New York. This place is a must visit! The people are super friendly and everyone I was eating dinner with can guarantee that our server was absolutely gorgeous as well! Ahhh such amazing foodThe gluten free is a tad confusing but many things on the menu are gluten free or can be made so with gf ingredients. They actually have 2 gluten free breads just not on the menu AND NO UPCHARGE! Many of their ingredients surprisingly have barley or rye gluten which can be substituted easily, but just as an FYI that there isn't actually much wheat in the facility at all
