Make sure you tell them you are gf, so they don't add bread. My son had the Turkey plate and really liked it. Husband had the Frito Pie.l and he really liked that. I had the chopped salad, hold the cheddar and ranch. They didn't have balsamic or any non-dairy/non-egg dressing. They offered me oil. The salad wasn't what I call chopped, more mixed greens with some romaine. I give mine a 2 out of 5, but my family was really happy with their meals.
Made the mistake of not telling the waitress we were gf because they have a gf menu and we haven’t had problems anywhere lately. The brisket plate came with a big piece of bread on top. We didn’t eat what the bread touched but my son and I are still both reacting to what we did eat and it usually takes more than cross contamination for us to react. We had the brisket and sauce, potato salad, cole slaw and jalapeño cheese grits. I was really bummed too that we were asked to choose lean or moist and even though lean was requested, a full 50% of my meat was solid fat. Ended up being a lot to pay for two small strips of meat I cut off the fat.
Make sure to specify you are gluten free and ask for no bread. Menu is labeled with gf items. However my meal was brought out with bread on top. I notified the food runner of the mistake she prompt had a new plate made. Ordered brisket with cucumber and tomato salad and the cheese grits. It was very good!
They were generally lost... our server was clueless. I don’t think I am going to react to my dinner but the takeout order we also placed they brought with bread. Needless to say it completely freaked me out. Ask for Ian the manager... he is educated and considerate and will make sure you are taken care of.
*Update* I am home with CC symptoms now. Idk if I would risk it with them again.
