Absolutely delicious. Had a gf menu waiting for me at the table. Since I couldn’t eat the bread, they brought a free appetizer of the togarashi butter edamame. They were absolutely delicious. Also had the beef tenderloin skewers and they melted in my mouth. Chilean sea bass was delicious as well. For dessert, we had a gf chocolate chip cookie skillet. Absolutely wonderful experience. Very pricey but worth it if you are willing to splurge.
they have separate Gluten Free Menu. Everything they have is awesome! The Gluten Free warm Chocolate chip cookie topped with ice cream is the best ever!
I’m a sensitive celiac and had a wonderful experience here last weekend - no reaction and the food itself was amazing. The waiter was knowledgeable and there are so many options and a separate menu. I had the caesar salad and the pasta bolognese, and the fusilli pasta itself wasn’t mind blowingly good, but the meat sauce was great. Also tried the steak frites (my partner ordered GF so I could try), even the fries are GF!! The desserts aren’t listed clearly anywhere, but we got the creme brulee and the skillet cookie with vanilla ice cream and peanut butter mousse. A bonus was that we were celebrating a graduation, so they brought the creme brulee on the house. Love this place!

I have eaten here regularly and safely for many years. Recently, over the past year, the quality has become poor, especially for the price. The usually packed restaurant has been relatively empty on a Friday nights. But, we continued to eat here because we thought it was safe. Unfortunately, on this past Friday, though we were very clear about our order and having Celiac, I got an appetizer that was not prepared gluten free and I became ill. The server was in no way apologetic.
For now, I would steer clear of The Tavern if you have Celiac. I hope that they can return to the wonderful GF safe restaurant they once were.

Dedicated gluten free menu with delicious options. They bring edamame in place of bread and the half baked cookie is the best!!
Excellent gluten free experience! They have a dedicated gluten free menu and staff are knowledgeable about cross contamination concerns. They give you edamame in place of bread. My husband who isn’t celiac loved the food as well. The half baked cookie was to die for. We will definitely be back for all the gluten free options!

Best gluten free menu that I have ever experienced. I got a sushi roll and the tasting plate. Absolutely fabulous!
I had a seafood trio and my husband had the pork/red meat trio. All were amazing and df/gf. We also had the spinach salad which was good. Nice, knowledgeable staff. Cute decor as well.
Owners daughter is Celiac. The wait staff is fully trained on allergies and cross contamination. We came here with one celiac and one seafood allergy. And they even have gluten free dessert. Wish we lived closer.
Waiter was wonderful in explaining exactly what we could eat and how things are prepared. The food was delicious and we were all very impressed!
The staff was very attentive to our allergies. They warned us that there was a potential for cross-contamination with fried Items. The selection on their gluten-free menu is outstanding. Everythong we had was first rate and the wait staff was exceptional. It was so nice to enjoy an outstanding anniversary dinner confident that they were taking care in our food prep. I can't wait to return and try some of their other offerings.
Have eaten here about 3 times in the last couple months. It is very good. I have gotten the same thing (Prime NY Strip), and it is very good. My only concern is sometimes it is served with the spinach and sauce, and sometimes without. The last time I asked why it had the sauce this time, the waitress assured me it always came that way. I had actually be in a week before, and it had no spinach and different sauce. I'm not sure if it was a mistake or just different chefs. Either way, I am a little leary now. However, the gf brownie & ice cream is worth every bite!

They will also bring you edamame instead of bread! It has butter on it but you can request no dairy.
High end and expensive with not many options but I felt that the staff was knowledgeable about the options.
