I had high hopes for this restaurant based on previous reviews. My server was great when I explained I had celiac. She reassured me that she would let the kitchen manager know as well as the rest of the kitchen staff. To be on the safe side I ordered salmon and vegetables. When my food was served I noticed a piece of noodle on my plate after I had started eating. I showed the waitress and she got the manager. According to the manager they must have boiled my vegetables in the pasta water. The waitress felt really bad and said the cooks only speak Spanish so maybe something was not understood by them. I didn’t feel well for a week. This is the first time I have written a review, but use the app frequently. I didn’t want this to happen to someone else.
Great lunch here, server was very knowledgeable about gluten, and they had a separate GF menu to make it even easier. Food was delicious! I will definitely be back here.

They have a separate gluten free menu. It does have a cross contamination warning. I do not have celiacs, but do have an intolerance. I had a yummy burger with GF bun. Next time I would skip the hun as it was good but fell apart. Had no reaction. Enjoyed my food. And the menu had a nice selection.
My husband and I visited this place over the weekend. The food was amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful when I told them I was gluten free. I ordered the steakhouse burger because I wanted to try their buns. OMG! This was so good! I love an hour in a half from here but, when I'm in the a rea, I'll go and have a meal here everytime. They have a full separate gluten free menu with a decent amount of options.
They have a vegan and gluten free menu. Hummus platter is Amazing! Highly recommended! Nice to be able to get an appetizer or just that for a lunch!
Tavern has a full GF menu. Apps, sandwiches, flat breads. And all of them are delicious!
My husband and I visited this place for lunch. It was fantastic! I ordered the steakhouse burger and it was amazing!!! The burger is served with a zip sauce that is listed on their gluten free menu, but the waitress notified me that she didn’t think it was, so I had her omit that. The burger is served with delicious kettle chips. We will be back!
