Excellent gluten free, celiac safe Friday fish fry. Fries and fish are cooked in a dedicated gluten free fryer. Very knowledgable server and owner.

Dedicated gluten-free fryer. Good atmosphere and the staff is nice. I disagree with other reviewers. The cheese curds leave something to be desired. The cheese itself when hot tastes like processed cheese. When cold the cheese taste like low-grade cheddar. They were more edible cold than hot. The fries were fine and I did not get sick. V's GF food cart and Charlie's on Main make the best gf cheese curds around.

Gluten free fish fry (fish and chips) and gluten free battered cheese curds! Dedicated fryer! Plenty of gf adjustments, too. One of the owners is gluten free so they get it! Thank you so much for having items that we gf folks crave, so we can eat what everyone else gets to eat, too!

Totally Celiac safe! Their cheese curds were incredible! Also got the fish and chips and loved those too! My sister is also Celiac and she felt great after as well.

My husband and I stopped for brunch and it was outstanding! I’m celiac and had the breakfast risotto and GF cheese curds without any issues. The staff were friendly and double checked with the chef to make sure I could dine without worry.

Ate here for the first time during restaurant week. Menu and specials were clearly marked. Even a note about their dedicated gf fryer (hello, cheese curds and truffle fries!) Staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. Everything was delicious. Our new go-to date night spot.

Came here to try the GF cheese curds! I’m still mourning the loss of Jacs, so it was nice to discover this place right across the street. The cheese curds are battered in GF pancake batter and served with maple syrup. They were good- just more like a dessert, very sweet. Tough to taste the cheese. That being said I am always ecstatic to find safe options in Madison and I love that they have a dedicated fryer. They have a wide variety of options and I can’t wait to go back to try more.

The food was delicious. They have a dedicated gf fryer. My son had gf cheeseburger, fries and cheese curds. He was in heaven. He didn’t get sick at all. It’s really hard to find good gf cheese curds, so they are worth a visit for those alone. If you liked Jac’s this place is right across the street. The restaurant was clean and the staff was knowledgeable.
